psh scouring the world would require leaving your couch. Double J is just cleaning out his camera claiming anyone he sees has signed.

From just before WrestleMania XXX until now, Vince McMahon has lost around $842 million of on-paper worth, with around $360 million of that being earlier this month. Vince is still worth around $700 million.
One person that has been associated with Vince for a while noted that the mainstream media and business publication coverage of how much money he lost and about how he’s no longer a billionaire will drive him crazy. It was said that the actual loss of the stock money isn’t going to bother him.

Getting ready to enjoy a nice day with the Family before flying to Tennessee later. Mom and Dad coming up to see the girls. Steph getting sundress on. Linda contemplating running for local school board president. Pop nowhere to be found. Zack Ryder doing job for youngest daughter. I'd like to thank those who served. And by served, I mean knew what was best for business and did the job to the Dad of Dads.

I did one of my pass out watching or listening to wrestling deals. I woke up, and they were announcing The Brood as number two. I assumed it was a dream. When I realized it was real, one of my new life goals became watching this episode with Flair. Drunk.

The fucking brood was the 2nd greatest faction? The Four Horseman group that had Mongolia in it was a better overall group. WTF

Today's Countdown was best trash talkers.
10. Macho Man Randy Savage 9. Superstar Billy Graham 8. Chris Jericho 7. Bobby Heenan 6. Ric Flair 5. Roddy Piper 4. Jake Roberts 3. The Rock 2. CM Punk 1. Stone Cold Steve Austin
Hard to argue but it seems like Flair and Heenan should be higher.

Watched the Von Erich documentary on the Network again.
I remember watching WCCW as a yute but it was interesting to see how crazy hot that promotion was.

The more I've thought about it, I think watching late night WCCW syndication is what made me a wrestling fan before Vince. I remember being so pissed when they go to the main event, only to say it will be on the following week. I was still hooked.

It was just the best. Never, and I mean NEVER, did I see a bullshit puke angle or any other unrealistic thing happen. It was just dudes and egos that wanted to beat the hell out of each other.
The Von Erichs were SO over down there (I hated them) that it just made everybody else as well.
What I most remember was the Freebirds, the 20 Von Erichs, Chris Adams and Gino Hernandez, Bruiser Brody, Gary Hart, the Missing Link, the One Man Gang, Kamala, Kabuki or whoever it was that spewed the green mist, the occasional Ric Flair, the Sportatorium, a Garvin or two, and about 30 others I can't remember at the moment.
Oh gosh it was good.

I'm not bitter but I want to know what exactly was the relationship between Gary Hart and Court Bauer. The other absolutely incredible fed that I ever saw was that Windy City deal on like channel 44 or something like that. I was waaaay young but it seemed like Dick The Bruiser and to a lesser extent The Crusher were pretty much the focal point. No bs/unrealistic stuff but lots of blood was pretty much it's M.O. if I remember correctly.

That doesn't mean a thing. Seriously. Just saying. I'm not trying to do an age thing, but Windy City was kind of the shits by the time I found it. Heyman might have booked for a moment before I went to a show. However, I did experience one of my greatest wrestling moments. I was probably eleven/twelve, and one of my neighbors told me he worked with a pro wrestler. I didn't believe it. I met the guy, and saw him in a battle royal a couple months later. I was sitting on the floor, and when he got tossed, his head hit off my knee. Looking back, I'm sure it was by design because he said hi to me, and I said hi back. Hadn't thought about that for some time. Just found some new damage, so I might be keeping a Keeping Score schedule tonight. Fuck.
