What I'm most excited about oddly enough, is I just might possibly watch every ECW bit of programming that they offer.
This was a promotion I completely missed out on. But no more.

www.wrestlingnewsworld.com/26-wwe-network-questions-answered-official-release/#.Us4bLdJDuFtI think JR will eventually be back. He should be the face of this network, but they hate his face. A prominent spot should be available to him eventually. I'm really not trying to mark here, but do you guys realize what a game changer this is for WWE? They basically told all cable and satellite providers to F off. While doing this, they will probably be able to get a gigantic deal for their basic cable offerings. Say what we all will about creative, the business side is getting it done.

Will PPV's still be available at the $50-$60 price point for those who don't want the Network?

This is one of the stories they're banking on. The real genius is putting a lock on the adult on demand content. The kids watch it now, and want the network. Dad, as an adult, hasn't watched for years. "I can make the kids happy, and I'll watch that stuff that entertained me fifteen years ago." Outstanding.

I don't know why people would do it, but they will. Also, they are slow rolling the international roll out. So they will still get those PPV buys during the North American experiment. I've been reading a ton of Meltzer stuff about the business end of the 80's and 90's. Perhaps that's why this is so intriguing. However, in my opinion, this is the biggest thing since the WCW purchase.

The Legends House is gonna be a thing.
Now that they have some control, parental lock etc...., I'd like to see them produce a show called Big Boy Wrestling. Adult oriented. Edgy. Kind of an Attitude Era type of feel.
Just like an hour show each week.

Very interesting. Any mention of showing their developmental promotion on the channel? Also to fill programming its almost a no brainer to buy ROH at this point no? All the Indy nerds mark out and buy in.

FCW has been shutdown. NXT was created and moved to a college campus, similar to Columbia in Chicago. Advanced production, facilities, etc. It also created a training ground for the other side of the camera.
They also created the Performance Center.

Prossibably both.

Wrestling Observer @wonf4w 56s #WWE estimates between 800k-1 million network subscribers to break even. Will they hit it?

However, I think they offer enough to get it done with a profit. They could be preparing to lose money for two years on this project. But it puts them in position for the future. It could easily be absorbed with the new television contract. This isn't your WWF, where they had to put a strong product out.

Thanks KS. This almost sounds too good to be true. I'm very interested to see how this will affect overall revenue, and if the network can be more than enough to cover losses in PPV and DVD revenue.
