Thanks to the WWE Network, I'm reliving things I don't even remember. It also leads to regrets. Yes, I went through every woman in the company in 85'. I have a couple words for you. Quaaludes and scotch. You should have seen what Big John Studd did with Cyndi Lauper's hat. You think Bob Orton Jr.'s kid has issues........

I've been basically watching everything since the time Kurt Angle joined WWE. He was my guy back in the day so I am clearly biased, but has there ever been a rookie in pro wrestling that has performed as well as Angle on the mic and in the ring? It's ridiculous how good he was back then with the likes of Jericho, Triple H and The Rock.

I've been basically watching everything since the time Kurt Angle joined WWE. He was my guy back in the day so I am clearly biased, but has there ever been a rookie in pro wrestling that has performed as well as Angle on the mic and in the ring? It's ridiculous how good he was back then with the likes of Jericho, Triple H and The Rock. No. Nobody picked up the full package, if you'll pardon the expression, quicker. He was amazing. I was a HUGE Kurt mark from the second I picked up the gimmick. Then I saw him in the ring. Natural. Jimmy crack corn and I don't care, Jimmy crack corn and I don't care, Jimmy crack corn and I don't caaaaaaaare, Because I've got Olympic Gold. |

WWE has managed to make corporate wrestling presentations seem amazing to watch. Even for smarmy internet douchebags like myself. |

I'd be interested in comparing IQ levels here. I think WWE would smoke Palin's subscribers.
- The Motley Fool has an article here looking at if the WWE Network will be able to handle traffic for WrestleMania, given some of the glitches that have popped up since its launch. WWE sent the following statement in an email to the site:
"Notwithstanding the overwhelmingly positive response to WWE Network, we want to ensure subscribers have the highest-quality experience watching WrestleMania 30 and all our programming, and thus have put in place significant quality assurances. These steps include increased capacity to handle high volumes of transactions, logins, and concurrent live streams, daily 'stress' testing of all systems over an extended period, and the addition of technology experts to review our plan and procedures. We're confident that we'll be ready on Sunday, April 6."
- Speaking of the Network, it appears as if almost-one-term former Governor of Alaska Sarah Palin might be following in WWE's footsteps. The New York Post reported this week that Palin is in talks to start her own digital network that would cost $9.99 / month. If the WWE Network is a big hit, you'll be seeing a lot of people throwing their hats into the online digital channel medium.

The shows and summaries of the pitches (via PWInsider) are below: * Blackman's Bounties: Former WWE star and legit badass Steve Blackman reality series following his bounty hunting team based out of Harrisburg, PA. Think Dog the Bounty Hunter. * NXT: Behind the Scenes: A reality series following the talents trying to make it out of the Performance Center and to the main roster, looking at their work, their personal lives and the fraternity of the NXT brand, including the heartbreak of being cut. So, it's Tough Enough-esque. * Pros vs. Joes: Pretty much the same as the old SpikeTV series, pitting WWE talents against an average person in physical and non physical challenges. The non physical challenges listed included an air guitar competition. The physical challenges were described as similar to American Gladiators. * WWE Around the World: Following WWE talents taking part in some of the scariest stunts and attractions around the world, such as shark diving and eating strange foods.
