I interviewed New Jack in the circa 2002 on live college radio. Needless to say our producer was really busy for the 20-minute segment.

While I'm out there destroying jabronis in wrestling trivia, earning your respect, you're holding back the fact you interviewed New Jack???
I want details of this. Please tell me this audio exists?

Changing the booth mid-show on Nitro came up today. What if AEW went to Tony/Excalibur in hour one and JR/Excalibur(or someone else) on Dynamite?

I kind of like how commentary is right now. All 3 shows have different feels to them. Show & Tony are developing good chemistry on Elevation, Excalibur & Taz do more riffing & roasting than calling the action on Dark (which for squashes is fine) and then Dynamite is the more serious show.
JR messing up his lines occasionally is my only complaint. Also if they are going to have 4-5 interview segments (it feels like it sometimes) then they need to use Dasha for a couple. We don't need Tony doing EVERY SINGLE ONE. I love Tony, he's great, but a lot of the time he's just a body standing there.

I think it does. It’s a matter of me finding it. I’m not sure what the hell I asked him about considering I had never seen a single second of him wrestling to that point. Might have been asking about XPW and had him talk to us about his career at that point? I just remember him fully taking over talking about random shit.

It’s hard to listen to Conrad’s shows when he’s so biased towards AEW. They can do no wrong in his eyes and then he shits on things just as dumb from the past done by other orgs. I understand his rubbing elbows relationship with aew but honestly it takes away his credibility. Tony’s show gets listens for me on weekends because it’s fun. Sometimes I like to listen to JR when he is in red ass mode. I love Bischoff perspective when it comes to business and tv. Bruce’s show is damn near garbage at this point and I stopped regularly listening to that long ago.

Bischoff does a good job of subtly criticizing both companies without getting blowback from either. I fast forward the AEW segments on JR's show. Bruce is too protective of WWE now and he tries too hard to be funny (doesn't help that Conrad is constantly pushing for that though). Always enjoy Bruce and Bischoff shitting on Meltzer; that will never get old.

Renee had her baby (congrats to the Paquette/Young/Good/Ambrose/Moxley's) so this week on Oral Sessions is the Ask Mox episode where Moxley hosts.
It's exactly how funny you'd imagine.
He does give the origins of the Titty Master.

Lana was in Jericho’s podcast. She said her feud with Nia, getting out through tables for 9 weeks, was supposed to culminate at Survivor Series in a table spot, but Roman Reigns shot it down because he was supposed to have a table spot with Drew.

That sucks for her, but good that someone like Roman has some sense to protect a money spot in a main event match.

I’d usually agree completely but with no fans, what does a table spot in a random nothing match like Drew and Roman mean? Sure the Lana and Nia feud was terrible (MY HOLE!!) but it was built around the table spot. Literal months went into Lana getting her revenge. And it was squashed.
I think she should’ve gotten her spot. But Roman gets precedence, I understand.

People laying out the show should realize it way before it ever gets to Roman.

Agreed totally. But the company is ran by a geriatric doofus and his yes men who are scared to say anything.
I’m shocked it even made it where Roman heard about it in the first place

On the latest Prichard Show, Bruce said Doink hitting Bruce Hart with water at SS 1993 was a rib. Bruce Hart didn't know it was coming. Who knows if that's true, but watch it back on The Cock thinking it's real. Sure looks like it and I popped.

Nash is going to be on 83 Weeks tomorrow. Granted he's got years on me, but he said something that made me feel much better. He's talking about the greatness of Ozark. He and his wife are excited it's coming back. But he didn't remember a thing about the show and figures a rewatch is in order. I thought I was the only one that can't remember shit unless I've seen it fifteen times.

Been listening to My World With Jeff Jarrett lately.
Much better than I expected. I was never a Jarrett fan in any promotion, but he is surprisingly very interesting to listen to.
All that being said, I'm experiencing Conrad Thompson Overload. It'd be great if he'd hand the reins over to a different host for some of these shows.

That's a big reason why I cut back on wrestling podcasts. First, I couldn't stand Bruce's bullshit once he became a Vince soldier again, second, like you said, Conrad overload. While I think Conrad gets the most out of his co-hosts, I'd just like someone else occasionally. He's on every damn show.

I knew Jarrett's podcast would be great from a wrestling nerd standpoint. So many different parts of history to talk about from different perspectives.
Conrad does have someone handling different hosting duties. But he's still primarily on all of them.

I highly recommend Tony's podcast this week. Haven't hit the NWA 1986 portion of the show. But so far we have behind the scenes Punk stuff, Michael Hayes being invited to church, and Ricky Morton trying to speak to Japanese wrestlers.

Schiavone: So I'm like Barry White?
Conrad: No, he probably had a big wiener.
