I'm listening to JR's initial podcast with Austin. Pretty damn good so far. Many people will get excited about them kind of shitting on not giving the people Daniel Bryan at the Rumble. But this is the booking item I loved. Why put Mysterio in the 30 spot, outside of burying him before another botched surgery? Almost everyone is waiting for Bryan at 30. Have Wade Barrett come out at 30, and tell everyone he has bad news. This makes me think they really want to bury DB if possible. That's booking 101. You can, gasp, start to get ANOTHER guy over as well. There is no plan that we want, and we'll be lucky to be happy. "BUT LISTEN PAL, BATISTA IS AN ATTRACTION!"

Do yourself a favor and listen to Austin's interview with DDP. Even if you weren't a big DDP fan, he's a good story teller. Those two made for a very enjoyable two hours. Loved his Macho Man stuff. Very enjoyable. Thank you.

I don't care for the Chris Jericho podcasts at all. He talks way too much random music which I dont give a shit about.
Colt Cabana and Stone Cold's podcast are the shit though. The Jim Cornette interview was great (the blowjob prank story had me in tears)

I have skipped the non-wrestling ones so far.

Stone cold had a question and answer show today where he was taking calls from listeners. I choked and asked a stupid question but I can say that I was able to shoot the shit for 5 mins with Stone Cold Steve Austin.
I cant top this the rest of the day.

I would ask him if he would be interested in having his own beer brewed for him. Probably can't call it a SteveWeiser so would have to come up with a name like Stone Cold Stunner Swill.

Speaking of Bennett, he's on the latest AOW with Cabana & it was a pretty good listen.
Also the WWE has a WrestleMania podcast up & I think it's pretty entertaining. Renee Young talks to guys about their WrestleMania moments & what not. Edge, HBK, Bret, Cody/Goldust are the ones so far. I'm glad they went with Renee as the host because I don't think I'd be able to handle Michael Cole.

Second episode of Mike and Maria wasn't that good. Maria thinks she's saving the world of feminism through her feud with the Bellas.
I think she should take her clothes off more.

I think the CIJ episode of Austin's podcast is up now as well.
randomone, I heard the AOW with Bennett. Dude has been wrestling for 15 years, is engaged to a Playboy cover girl, and lives at home with his parents.
It was a really good interview though and he seems like a nice guy who never got his big break.
Another Regal episode with Austin was up on Tuesday too. I love listening to Regal talk.

Also the guy who wears wrestling t-shirts to school all the time (even an Al Snow "Got Head" shirt) gets the Playboy cover girl, haha. Yeah I like Bennett, I think he's entertaining as hell. Maria with him has been done only good things IMO. I found it funny ROH didn't want to sign him earlier in his career because they thought WWE would swoop him up in a few months. He has the size, look & skills, kind of surprised he hasn't gotten a chance in WWE. Think he'd do well.
Then again Maria has been pretty vocal about the Bellas & how pretty much they were instrumental in her not coming back, so Bennett might be ignored by association in a way.
I need to listen to both Regal eps of Austin's. His Cabana ones were great, I expect these to be the same.

I'm a total mark for SCSA, so that was a true highlight for me.
I'm pretty much all caught up on podcasts right now. I've listened to pretty much all the Austin podcasts along with a shit ton of Colt Cabana's as well. I just listened to the one Colt had with Hillbilly Jim and I've had "Don't go messing with a country boy" in my head for 2 days now.
Anyone else have any decent wrestling related podcasts they can suggest. I've given up on sports talk radio so now I can burn through about 6 to 7 episodes a day while working.

Already listen to Stone Cold...both versions
JR is hard to listen to talk. His bells palsy is kind of distracting. I can be a Dbag and say this because I had it myself.
Jericho talks too much music and other shit for my liking.
I'll check out the Mike and Maria podcast though.

The Mike and Maria one is kind of cool. I agree about the JR podcast being hard to listen to. I haven't listened to the Jericho ones lately either. Cabana's podcast is still the best one overall.

You people have been much too hard on the Jericho podcast lately.
I listened to part one of the RVD episode and it was excellent. I'm moving on to part two right now. Apparently RVD is gonna break down the legalization of Mary Jane. I'm sure I'm gonna love this podcast as well!
Anywho, I don't list to all of the Jericho podcasts. I only listen when it's wrestlers. BUT, when it is wrestlers, the show is 99% about wrestling!! And 100% AWESOME.

The one criticism of Austin's podcast is that his memory is so bad he forgets what he's talking about half the time and distracts the guest from his point.
I like Jericho's podcast when there's interesting guests. I don't care about RVD or the guys he's had on recently. Hopefully some good guests start showing up.

The thing with these podcasts are that even with the wrestlers I don't think I would be interested in learning more about usually have some interesting stories or background. This whole interview format with wrestlers is still somewhat new compared to actors and major athletes. The newness factor of hearing these guys talk freely for an hour plus has been really cool.
