About to start watching. Finished Fear the Walking Dead last night. Wasn't real thrilled with the ending but was a good stop gap until tonight!

It was a disappointment from what was promised.
We were going to see the breakdown of society and how the world basically went to shit.
Instead by the end we were left with Walking Dead:Los Angeles.

I stayed away from Fear The Walking Dead.
I don't know what it is, maybe I'm just growing tired of the zombie craze, but I wasn't really looking forward to tonight's premiere like I have past seasons.
That said, SPOILER IF YOU HAVENT WATCHED TONIGHTS EPISODE.......
Rusy Griswold aka Nick Papageorgio can't fight zombies for shit.

For fuck sake I just saw it. I won't ruin it for those who haven't seen it yet, but that's how they did it?
I understand it's inevitable with everyone, but I was expecting more.

Rumors are that it's not true and it was the other guy.
I hope they don't cop out.

That's what I was thinking. The amount those walkers were chomping, homeboy survived quite a while before he died if it was in fact him.
I used to be so obsessed with this show & last weeks episode was great. But last season made me fall out of love with this show, if that makes sense.
Sort of over the zombie craze, like I said before.

I didn't catch Talking Dead, but apparently they didn't list them in the In Memoriam like they usually do whenever someone dies.
They'll be back in a week or so I bet.

So Rick shoots Jessie's husband last season & puts the moves on her in tonights episode. In that sense Rick Grimes.....is sort of a scumbag, haha.
Also it bums me out when I hear someone is pregnant, because of what happened to Lori. Really hope we don't have what happened to her happen to Maggie.
On the other hand, way to go Glenn!! Even if you are dead (which I don't think you are).

Glenn will come out of the barn and have to be put down by Rick.
Actually he's gonna end up as a Wolf.

Rick & the gang get confused, Glenn has carved what they think is a W in his head, but they're looking at it upside down & it's actually a M for Maggie.

Jeffery Dean Morgan cast to play Negan at the end of this season & into season 7.
That's fantastic casting right there. They need a new major villain & he's perfect.
Plus there's like 700 characters on this show, time to thin the herd. Only so many times I can see someone die by walkers.

Saw that yesterday.
I think that'll mean Glenn is still alive.
At least til the finale.

I know the show differs from the comics a bunch, but the way Glenn bites it in the comics is pretty memorable (and brutal). Wonder if they'll go that way in the show? Because for such a major character in the show, the way we're to believe Glenn died is pretty weak.
Have Negan demolish him & that brings Negan immediate hatred from the fans.

I think he gets "rescued" by Negan and when Rick and company finally run across Negan, he does Glenn in.

Kinda of a stinker of a mid season finale IMO. Until the clip at the end.
Negan name drop & the countdown til February begins (and the inevitable countdown to Glenn's demise)
Morgan, who I have liked up to this point, annoyed the shit out of me in this episode. Just let Carol & her rad brass knucks/knife combo just slice some damn throats!

It was bad.
Rick may be the worst thing to happen to any group of well-off survivors.
He comes in and inevitably causes death and distruction.

Rick this half season, has essentially used the D.E.N.N.I.S System on the hot blonde lady.
Problem with the Alexandria storyline, is, I watch the show every week, but I can't tell you many of their names, because I'm not emotionally invested in their characters. The hot blonde lady I like because, well, she's hot, therefore she must live! Other than that, only one I care see survive is oddly enough the doctor girl who was taken tonight by the Wolf dude, because she was on New Girl for a few episodes, haha.
Thinning of the herd needs to happen, but sadly it'll be at the expense of some fan favorites I bet.

Actually Rick has used more of the M.A.C. system. Move-In, After, Completion. Of course the completion part being, you know, killing her husband in front of her. Before making out with her five episodes later.
Boy that Rick Grimes sure is a scumbag. Our hero!

I mean every time he comes across a group of survivors who have found a way to live in this world, Rick comes in and manages to kill people (or get them killed) and ruin the whole thing.
Next time he suggests some grandiose idea, someone needs to tell him to sit the fuck down.

Absolutely.
The Farm was surviving. Rick comes in and half the occupants get killed and they have to leave.
Alexandria was a safe community. Rick comes in and kills people and makes a move on the guy's wife. Then he has a bright idea to clear a horde of zombies from a quarry that's not town-adjacent and ends up having them all overrun Alexandria and caused the death of numerous Alexandrians.
People should not listen to Rick.
They should kill him the first chance they get.

People should not listen to Rick. They should kill him the first chance they get. This is crazy talk. The horde would have gotten to the farm eventually - he saved Maggie and family from certain death. Glenn I am sure appreciated it. Alexandria was only safe because the zombies were stuck in quarry and eventually were going to get out. Which happened during the dry run because the truck fell in and opened up the way for them to leave. His idea was great and worked enough to get half the horde away. The Wolves invaded Alexandria and fucked it all up. The people in Alexandria (or anywhere else they have been) that die are because of their own stupidity or others stupidity gets them killed. For instance Spencer and his dumb ass trying to climb over the wall or Hottie McBlonde's dumb oldest kid trying to kill Karl leads most of them to the damn house. None of these are because of Rick - its because of stupid decisions made by other people who dont' understand survival. If it wasn't for Rick all but Darryl and Glenn would be dead.

He's fine for his group. When Rick comes calling though, shut your doors because death and mayhem follows him.
Fuck he invites it with his dipshittery plans.
Name one big plan that Rick had that worked out?

No garden for him to go mope in when things get rough. Now he's got to go out & kill some motherfuckers!
This show makes you really heartless though, because I was happy when her two kids died, but really bummed when Jessie died. Mainly because Alex Breckenridge is a smoke-show.

Everyone coming out of hiding at the end was great. That montage of everyone in town just slaughtering walkers looked super rad to shoot.
Easily the best overall episode in a very long time IMO.

That episode was ridiculously awesome. Everyone in town realized they have to fight or die - they woke up. That was for sure the goriest episode ever, and that is saying something.
