1993 King of the Ring ResultsI've got a real problem as Hulk Hogan has creative control over any of his matches and he would not agree to drop the belt at KOTR. I wanted him out until at least Royal Rumble. Maybe I will try to have him drop to Yokozuna on Raw.

Looks like you created a damn mess. I'd take these kids out to a Denny's and hash it out. They will have their gimmicks with eggs. Explain your direction.

I'm trying to give Hogan some vacation time by dropping the title to Zuna still. Then get it back on Hart's waste and go with Hogan vs. Hart at WM10. Could do an nWo thing in WWF. Might let him go when his contract is up. Still not for sure. GIMMICKS

June 14, 1993Monday Night Raw Goes LIVE Tonight Backstage Notes: After "Woodridge Ryan" and Pat Patterson discuss Hogan's need for time off with movies, television and the need to spend more time with the family, Hulk Hogan finally agrees to drop title on Raw instead of King of the Ring to make a huge television impact. The angle is that Yokozuna had gotten his foot on the rope before the 3 count on KOTR, but it was missed by the referee. Patterson had set this in place just in case as Hogan had not agreed to drop the belt at KOTR. Hogan has a PPV creative clause that allowed him to block the initial booking decision. Hogan only agreed under the condition that Yokozuna's win would end on a tainted finish by Mr. Fuji interfering. To give a reason for Hogan's departure, he participates in a huge injury angle to close RAW.

Hogan's Championship Belt Drop draw Raw a 5.86 TV rating, the biggest for the show's history.

Meanwhile in WCW, The Great American Bash took place. All title retained on their show. WWF is in a transition period of creating new stars. WCW has held firm with Regal, Foley and Flair since the beginning of '93.

Monday, June 21, 1993Raw Is War The Hulk Hogan-Yokozuna-Bret Hart Storyline continues to be the hottest storyline in the company right now, even with Hogan taking time off. Yokozuna's tainted win still seemed to work for him as a legitimate threat due to the Hogan injury post-match angle. All three parties are said to be very happy with how this is shaping up. Jake Roberts is still trying to find his footing. Alcohol and hard drugs have been listed as the main cause for his work not being up to his standards. WWF took a chance three weeks ago on the signing and with Randy Savage on his way out, Roberts will become key in the development and building up of such stars at HBK, Diesel and other young talent down the road. The Undertaker-Bam Bam Bigelow feud has been a disappointment so far. Bigelow was getting a good reaction in April, but for some reason has been cooled off since the middle of May. This feud will most likely end at SummerSlam with an Undertaker win, continuing to try and build him up as a major player. The Steiners and Hollywood Blonds are on a collision course. Expect the Blonds to continue an undefeated streak leading up to a champoinship showdown with the Steiners.

I've got it. So the switch goes into place. Hollywood Blondes go face, Steiner's heel. In the process, they put Austin and Pillman out of action. However, the Blondes somehow manage to put Rick out as well. Scott Steiner plays the Austin role. He claims he brought a new friend to get his back while Rick is out. It's Sid! Sid and Scott Steiner get a gun pulled on them in Pillman's house. Scott Steiner says "what are you trying to do with that boy, besides make me mad?!?!" Sid bolts. Scott thinks he's left him. As Scott starts to back off from Pillman with the gun, Sid returns!!!!! He has a squeegee!!! Sid: This has been a long time coming boy. Now we settle it! Steiner: He's got a gun Sid! What the hell are you doing?!? Pillman: I'm going to shoot you both and do the world a favor!! Sid: You can try if you want boy, but I'm not the man I was last time we faced each other. I don't stand half the chance I did before!! Steiner: Dammit Sid! You aren't half the man you were. But I've got these biceps, and they can stop any bullet, just like the one that came out of your momma! Pillman: I'm seriously going to shoot you both. Steiner: I ain't afraid of nothing Flyyyin' Briiiian. When you see this coming at you, and Sid with the strongest squeegee known to man, you're going to know that you were dealing with us. Because that's what's going to happen. Holla if you hear me!! That wife of yours was a little freak by the way. Sid: Did you just call me a freak? Pillman: (Gun goes off) Sid is never heard from again. Steiner is mysteriously repackaged as a face in three years with a ninja gimmick.

Was hoping to keep Randy. The Vince-Savage friction is too strong.

I like your show better. Although a Crush push makes me sad.
If Dibiase brings out his own Steiner Brothers, I'm gonna pop huge.

The untapped potential of the Kona Crush is one of life's great disappointments. Haha. The Kona Crush gimmick failed so much again that Razor Ramon turned face and Crush turned heel during this same feud without me trying to do anything here. I'm going to use Crush to continue to get Razor Ramon over. I have no idea what to do with him afterwards. There isn't a Randy Savage to bother this time.

I'm letting a lot of overpaid veterans go to make room for younger guys and reshuffle the deck somewhat. Anyone I should try to hire?

If Tugboat joins Jake and Davey in the future, he best not fall in his debut.

You should put a beard on the 1-2-3 Kid and have him start dating Missy Hyatt. World title.
