That would be the biggest wet fart possible. WWE fans don't know Ricky Starks. They love LA Knight and he just got the title. Have Starks just be around during Cody matches and create mystery around who he is and why he is there. Tease friend or foe for a few weeks. That would be a much better introduction to him and being able to skip NXT. |

Tonight is the last Smackdown on Fox before moving to USA next week.
I'm kind of surprised it's only been 5 years on Fox.

Final SD on FOX did the lowest rating in the entire run there (minus a Best Of) and Collision did by far the worst ratings ever
NFL, college football, Fever game (which did well over a million), US Open
Wrestling was screwed last Friday.

Cody won a pretty average cage match. There were some cool spots, but Solo doesn't have that "it" factor.
Jacob Fatu, however, does have it. Excellent postmatch beat down angle.

Andrade & Melo keep having good matches. I don’t really care about Andrade vs Knight. I’d rather see Melo/Andrade Round 6 honestly.

Roman said it’s still his ring. Cody said it was but not since Mania. That took 15 minutes. They snarled at each other.
Bloodline attacked, again. Cody & Roman fought back, again. They signed a contract to face Solo & Fatu.
What a boring final segment for the “season premiere”, but the crowd ate it up, which is all that matters I guess.

Hope this is Sabin & Shelley. They shouldn’t be relegated to NXT at this point in their careers. Bolster the main roster tag division and give fans new matches. DIY vs MCMG would be wonderful.
Just hope they can stay healthy.
