Wrestlers are just damn amazing. I don't want to jinx anything but has there ever really been anything as tragic since the Droz deal? Maybe that Jesse Sorenson dude in TNA? Was Austin before or after Droz? In any event, it's been a long, long time. Thankfully.
(Not counting the 4-5 dudes that AJ Styles has paralyzed or killed in the past couple of years)

Not feeling Rollins' theme music yet. Seems awfully generic. The new round of theme music has been rough. It could end up growing on us. Cesaro's is horrible. Ambrose should work. I'm with you on Rollins. |

Yeah out of all the new themes, Ambrose's intro fits him perfect. Rest of the theme, eh not sure, but that opening is perfect.
Watched Smackdown. I agree, Torito got awfully handsy with Summer, good for him! I wonder who they'll bring up for Fandango? This can't go on for months. Then again, I'm sure it'll go on until the end of the year at least. I'm thinking maybe Sasha Banks gets a callup? Who knows.
Glad Rosas "match" was quick. AJ & Paige just need to kiss & make up. Please......please.

If the E just ran Smackdown LIVE! on Friday nights, why would it cost so much more to produce than how they do it now taping on Tuesdays? What are the specifics? More cameras? etc? etc?

If the E just ran Smackdown LIVE! on Friday nights, why would it cost so much more to produce than how they do it now taping on Tuesdays? What are the specifics? More cameras? etc? etc? I don't get it. WR will be able to give a much better explanation. The biggest factor is the TV crew rolls to the next town. |

Also, NXT is run in a sound studio on campus. Completely different crew. Many of them are Sail University students.

Someone with WWE told me that WWE was considering going back to the Super Show TV Taping concept where they do RAW live on Monday night and also tape Smackdown the same evening. That's a load of work....more than a load....but it would save WWE tons of money by eliminating the Tuesday Tapings. Time will tell if this cost cutting move will actually happen but it's a giant undertaking nonetheless.
If that's true, Smackdown crowd's will suck. Dark matches plus a 3-hour live Raw is already draining enough.

I completely agree about it being draining, 5 hour tapings takes me back to when they did a WWF taping in 1995 I was at as a kid. They shot all these Action Zone, Superstars, Wrestling Challenges (HHH's debut I saw). It started at like 7 & ended a little over midnight. I remember leaving early. WWE caters to kids, they'll be exhausted by the time Smackdown shoots.
It will save money sure, but it'll effect the crowds & they'll def have to add in more crowd noise than they usually do now.

Haven currently airs after Smackdown on Friday but is moving to Thursday nights at 10pm. So that’s more evidence that Smackdown is moving to Thursday. SyFy likes airing the show after Smackdown because they get some of the wrestling audience that sticks around to watch Edge (Adam Copeland) on the show.
If Smackdown does move to Thursdays then it may be an issue in Canada since Sportsnet has a deal with the NHL to air Thursday night games and the NHL is the most valuable programming for Sportsnet. That could mean that WWE would air (at least during hockey season) on Fridays in Canada.

Watching Smackdown & Adam Rose slow heel turn on the Bunny, shoving him to the ground after he cost him his match (solid sentence for a wrestling fan).
And to think, I was one of the few (thankfully not only) big supporter of this gimmick when it started. Boy, Vince loses interest & shit goes downhill quick!
Have Rose start turning more & more psychotic and attack the Bunny & attack the Rosebuds until there's no one left on his side. Have him go off the deep end whack job & turn him back into a Leo Kruger gimmick like he had. As much as I originally liked the Rose gimmick, he'd be better off as his demented weirdo gimmick from NXT.

For those who might've missed it, highly recommend checking out the fantastic Ziggler vs Cesaro vs Kidd elimination match. Sure the burial of Cesaro continues, but it's great to see Kidd in an actual meaningful match.
One of the better Smackdown matches in recent memory.

Sure the burial of Cesaro continues, but it's great to see Kidd in an actual meaningful match. One of the better Smackdown matches in recent memory. I've seen some folks on Twitter calling it a match of the year candidate. |

Watched a a bit tonight. If they were planning on doing this dumb stipulation, why not just do it on RAW. It's so ridiculously forced. A mopey backstage promo about freedom between Team Cena minus Cena. All while Rowan is playing with a Rubiks Cube. Yeah, that's right.
They're making Rowan into a goof. Festus in a sheep mask. There's no reason behind it at all. They send him out there to beat the punching bag Cesaro in 3 minutes & that's how he's a face? Ugh..
Which really makes me hope they do something with the Wyatt's laying out everyone. It also makes me wonder, what happens if there is no decisive winner? What happens of the show is both teams laid out? No one gets fired, no one loses power.
