WWE officials did not plan on the negative fan reaction it received at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view last night, but it seems it was all part of their strategy. Daniel Bryan not being in the Rumble main event match played into the storyline that he’s having to overcome “the machine” wanting to hold him down. This is why we saw him tweet last night that the machine wanted him no where near the Rumble. WWE is behind the idea of wanting the fans to be outraged that Bryan isn’t being pushed more. |

.....so where do they go with it? If they screw him into a match with Sheamus at Mania then you have to build this all year long until 2015 Mania?? I don't buy it. If they had a strategy they wouldn't have hung LCW out like that last night.

If that was their plan to go through the "Machine" before Mania then 2 months is not nearly enough for that. They were not expecting that level of backlash and at least one person was fired for it. I can't think of one payoff to any angle since they started this new corporate thing with Orton as champ and Trips/Steph in charge. And surprised they haven't completely fucked up the Wyatt Family angle, although it hasn't been for lack of trying in that department. |
