I'm going to listen for the first time in awhile. I'm also going to try to do something that hasn't been done in years:
Objectively discuss the show.

I appreciate the effort but I can't do it today. There will be many bad callers and yelling.
Plus the Cutler Show is on Silvy and Partner.

I've listened to the show but I really haven't heard anything of note so far. I'm sure people elsewhere could pick apart every word uttered, but I haven't heard anything interesting from anyone yet.

Everyone's probably too depressed and standing out on ledges across the city to call in.

Cookie, do you want to join our fantasy basketball league? No thanks. Way too many games and options for me to enjoy actual basketball while I'm involved.

They're not even answering questions properly anymore, even if its a legit caller. I hate when they get like this.

Matt's in one of his moods where he thinks he's really funny and is condescending...and wrong.

It's almost scary to see the posts in this thread. The over the top hatred of Boers and Bernstein was an easy signal of miserable men and women. The show was a tough listen for a good while. But not as bad as the reactive threads. I made the choice to not listen when I didn't enjoy it. However, I've noticed a much lighter tone the last six months. When I listen, it's usually good. Unless we're making Bennett into a mix of Richard Pryor and Jerry Seinfeld.

Boers and Bernstein were never as bad as they were made out to be over there. Not saying they're the Boers and Bernstein of yesteryear, far from it.
But there's a reason I now listen to the Wendy's Big Show. They had really fallen to a depth, and for far too long a period, for it to be tolerated any longer.
And the board nitpicking crap made it all that much worse. As bad as the show was, the board B&B threads were quadrupling my displeasure. Which I realize is more on me for getting caught up in reading them, but still. Just keeping it 100.
Anyways, they brought me joy for a great many years, and were easily my favorite sports radio show. I still listen if I'm out in the garage and Big Show has a commercial on.

I don't know what I'm looking from B&B anymore. I listened for 5-10 minutes and they were kind of jerks to callers with OK points or questions like WR said. But I laughed when they played the Hello game. After converting to the Big Show I think it's just B&B don't seem to be having much fun.

Hell, pretty much like the board. The Wendy's Big Show is what B&B used to be. Not trying to convert anybody, just sayin'. But the times I've heard B&B lately, they've been very, very good. Kind of old school.

What's this Big Show you guys are talking about? What channel? Welp, it's 1250 AM..........but it's out of Milwaukee. So it's not for everybody because there's an obvious emphasis on the Wisconsin sports scene. On the other hand, many people from the board who are not fans of any Wisconsin teams, have at times found the Big Show extremely enjoyable. (Speeps, beni, denisdman.) Many others like Kirkwood and UMN only like 1 Wisconsin team, and they've enjoyed the show immensely as well. Hawger and I can't live without it.

Thanks for the info. Sometimes, a break from B&B is very much welcomed when they're working my nerves or Dan gets on one of his rants.

I used to work at a radio station in Streator, Illinois that was located in the AM dial at 1250. Not a strong station, obviously.
