The winter weather forecast for heavy snow now includes blustery winds with gusts up to 30 miles per hour and a winter weather advisory.
The National Weather Service issued the alert shortly before 3 p.m. Friday; it runs from just before midnight Saturday until 3 a.m. Monday.
“Heavy snow totals are possible over far Southeast Wisconsin where lake effect snow will combine with the snow from the low pressure area,” the advisory reads. “Considerable blowing and drifting snow is expected over this area as on-shore winds from Lake Michigan will gust to over 30 mph at times.”
Totals forecast earlier Friday indicated five to seven inches of potential snowfall, but NWS is predicting between six and nine inches of snow by the time the storm ends.
“Snow will begin late Saturday night and last into the early morning hours of Monday,” the advisory ends. “Snow accumulations (will be) six to nine inches.”
This is gonna be GREAT!!

Soon...when I have a driveway!!! That really worked last year. It was phenomenal. It took about 1 minute to clear the entire sloped driveway.
