I liked that the season was kind of broken into chapters.
The Punisher chapters, The Elektra chapters, and then the all in chapters to end the season.

Call me a geek, but I love presidential politics. I took a look back at the 1992 presidential debates recently. That year my dad voted for Perot and my mom voted for Clinton. Not for sure where everybody lies in regards to political parties, but man does Ross Perot come off in 2016 as looking the most prophetic than the other 2. I wonder where the country would be if we had 8 years of Perot. Better? Worse? About the same?

On another note, this particular debate isn't the watch one, but damn Clinton just smokes Bush as a debater in this video. I've always found it funny that many people judge who debates best as who would be the best president. Those two things don't necessarily have anything to do with the other. It can help, but it should not be looked upon as a top needed trait of a candidate.

Still watching. My God, it crazy how much of a puppet HW was to big business, banks and the lobbyists. He consistently protected all three of these groups. Well, we know how this ended. Perot continues to forecast the future. Bill continues to just debate so well whether he has substance or not.

I liked that the season was kind of broken into chapters. The Punisher chapters, The Elektra chapters, and then the all in chapters to end the season. Overall I really liked it - but the ending left me unfulfilled. They never said who the Blacksmith was but we can assume it was Frank's CO based on their final conversation. I didn't like how squirrely the newspaper guy was being the last few episodes - something was off. Also the giant jar - at one point was filled with that neurotoxin blood from the caged ppl - who then just went full zombie and then willingly hooked back up with no further explanation. Oh and then at the end someone is in there. Just alot of sloppy loose ends. They should have also given a clean shot on Frank's handiwork of spray painting his new gear and the finished product. I didn't think they could make Foggy look more douche-y, yet they did lol. But good for him as I think that is a good way to separate himself from Nelson and Murdock. Looking forward to season 3 - but seems like a long way away. |

Yes Frank's CO was Blacksmith. I think Ellsion got worried about Karen after what happened to Ben last year. Then he treated her like he did Urich after everything quieted down. He sees her potential. I agree The Hand stuff got a little out there. {Spoiler}
ElektraElektra was in the urn at the end. Safe to say she'll be risen for season 3 and she'll be the big bad. |

Historical-ish drama about 9th Century England and the Danish fight against the kingdoms.
Very solid 2 seasons.

FOX cancelling my favorite show on TV, The Last Man on Earth, one season before they wrap up the entire story. Season 4 finale left on a giant cliffhanger and now nothing.
Fuckin FOX. They cancelled Brooklyn Nine-Nine (another super funny show) and The Mick too, meaning they don't want people to laugh at apparently anything except animated shows. |

Roseanne got the axe today after, to the surprise of no one, she made racist comments on Twitter. Immediately backtracked and deleted it, apologized and said she was leaving Twitter.
I'm sure it'll get picked up by FOX and put back to back with Last Man Standing.

I'd argue this season of Roseanne did more to tackle race and religion issues than anything most of the famous people that called for a boycott of the show have done in the last year.

It’s tough because she is the main character of the show. If you fire her you don’t have a show so they had to cancel it. There has to be some other disciplinary alternatives. What she tweeted was pretty awful but this world we have created is getting more divisive by the day. ABC’s reaction just aided to the divisiveness. They could have had a conversation with her and worked this out. We aren’t having conversations anymore. We all react and broadcast. It’s dangerous stuff. To randomone’s point, if any network was smart they’d gobble up some of conservative hollywood’s act and create a TWIC night - Thank God It’s Conservative. Fox News has the best ratings among cable network news. I bet you could have similar success if you marketed this night as such. |
