1st episode of new HBO show Succession was pretty good. I like Bryan Cox and the lesser Culkin kid is not bad either.

Yellowtone. New series on Paramount Network about a rancher in Montana and his family and their fight with basically everyone.
Kevin Costner is the big star.
Solid so far through 3 episodes.
I imagine Bischoff's life like this.

Don't know what the hell took me so long but The Good Place is a hilarious & great show.
Had zero clue it was from Michael Schur who created Parks & Rec and Brooklyn Nine Nine and wrote a ton on The Office (and he was Mose)
Cast is great and it's a real easy watch. Highly recommend if you're looking for a comedy. They're 2 seasons in with the 3rd starting late September.

I did not see that swerve coming towards the end of season 1.

I did not see that swerve coming towards the end of season 1. Glad you avoided any spoilers. I didn't want to post anything until you'd seen it. It's pretty great and makes you rethink everything you saw the entire season. Season 2 is really good too.

Really interested to see where season 3 goes. I've been really looking for a sitcom with actual storyline and not just a show with a wrapped up story in 30 minutes (like It's Always Sunny usually is). The Good Place is the perfect show for what I was looking for. Great cast, really funny and throws insane curveballs at you. Season 3 premieres in a few weeks. I'm currently binging Brooklyn Nine Nine season 5.

Before this I got caught up on Snowfall which has been real good.
Next might be Atlanta which I hear great things about but fear it may just be hype.

Also oddly digging Mr. Inbetween on FX.
I can see myself getting sick of it but for the first 2 episodes it was good.

I enjoyed the hell out of the return of The Good Place. Loved it! I'm so happy it's back. Can't wait for next week when Adam Scott returns. Joey Ryan was in the background of a scene too!

Just started watching the show Kidding on Showtime. It is about a Mr Rogers type person called Mr. Pickles and a year ago he lost his son in a car accident and it is about him coping with it while still doing this kids TV show. I saw something about some amazing shot they did for this on Twitter and decided to give it a chance. It is incredibly dark but funny and creepy weird. Jim Carey is perfect in this role, in fact I don't know who else could have played this character. Definitely worth checking out.

The Good Place made a reference to The Rock vs Stone Cold on this weeks episode.
I love this show so much.

It's Always Sunny finale tonight was fucking great. While this season has lacked due to Dennis not being on every episode, there's still been a few really great episodes, tonight's probably being the best of the season.
They've treated Mac being gay as a joke for quite a while, but did the complete opposite for the finale. And Danny Devito's expressions in the final scene were great too, it was a great Frank episode.

Best True Detective episode of the third season. Watched it on HBO GO.
Are they suggesting the dad was molesting the daughter and that's why they made him listen to the call?

I think so. At least it seemed like it. Roland seemed way more confrontational towards Tom after listening.
I enjoy the hell out of Stephen Dorf, especially old West.

Just finished season 1 of Barry.
That show is fucking great. I know now why Bill Hader and Henry Winkler won awards for it.
It's super dark but funny.

Yeah it's great and season 2 should be awesome as well. Unfortunately I don't do HBO Go or subscribe to whatever it is to get the channel, so I just watched it on DVD. So I'll have to wait a lot longer to watch season 2, but I'll definitely be looking forward to it. It's a super easy show to binge watch. 8 episode season is perfect.

In "who gives a shit" TV news. Eva Marie (yes that one) was eliminated tonight on Celebrity (use that term loosely) Big Brother. She came in 7th place.
It's absolute bottom level celebrities, but I thought it was funny the entire season the dumb host called her "Natalie Eva Marie" as her full name, like Prince or Cher. It was incredibly stupid.
Not nearly as dumb as me watching the show, so know I realize how ridiculous that is. It's the one "reality" show that I've seen every season of.
Luckily this season was only 3 weeks long.

Has anyone else watched Kidding on Showtime? Jim Carrey is perfect in it. It's super dark, weird, funny, sweet & overall batshit crazy.
He plays a Mr. Rogers character, but he's so emotionally broken from his actual life.
It's really great.

Haha I didn't even see that on the last page. My post is almost identical to yours.
I found myself saying "what the fuck?" at a lot of the moments, but then the end of the season happened and I pretty much said HOLY SHIT?!?!
Can't wait for season 2
