Just popped on NXT tonight to see Mandy vs Rok-C. I don’t watch enough to know, but has Mandy improved or upped her game at all being in NXT? Like if she gets called up to the main roster again, has she done anything to make herself any different than she was? She’s never improved any to me. She’s just the hot girl whose job is to be hot. She’s a bad promo still too. Jacy & Gigi could be ok on the main roster if they ever do. But tag teams are death only the main roster.
Anyways, I saw the Axiom vignette. So they put A-Kid in a mask? Ok then. He debuts next week, so that’s cool.

Oh, wonderful, they’re doing the injury before the match angle with Rok-C? Lame. I’m reminded why I don’t watch live.
Other than the occasional DVR of the “special events”, it’s amazing how little I care about NXT in such a short time. I want to, but I just don’t.
That head to head against AEW zapped me of any interest.

Agreed.
This is what NXT should be. A chance for young talent to learn how to be in TV. Like you said, some small improvements, like sensible booking, are fine but let NXT be what it is.

I don't know who that lady is, but that was badass. Zoey Stark. She faces Mandy next week for the title. She was hurt for about 8 months maybe (longer?) and teamed with Io Shirai before getting hurt. They’re high on her and rightfully so, she’s great. She should beat Mandy. |
