Holy fuck this is cringe. They stuck Tiffany out there on live TV for 5 minutes with a mic and just said go. She looks great sure and she has an amazing moonsault (even though whenever she does it I fear she’ll pop her two new “additions”), but boy does she need work on the mic. Take time and watch this. The shitty NXT crowd doesn’t help either cheering for heels and booing faces all the time.
Skip to about 1:30 in, that’s where she falls apart (I know there were cuts in this clip too).

Bron challenged Seth Rollins to face him on NXT for the World Title. Guess you can’t spell Bronze Title without Bron? But this will pop a rating for NXT for sure.

This is pretty great. Ben Carter trained in town at Rollins’ school, wrestled here during the pandemic, got a call to wrestle on AEW Dark a few times, crushed it, got signed to NXT UK and was stuck like everyone else for a while. Cut to now and he’s killing it in NXT and full circle with Rollins.
And dates Thea Hail. Everything’s coming up Frazer!

Good for him, hopefully they can develop a good character for him and he gets a chance.
That said, he left AEW where the roster was super bloated to NXT where the roster is…super bloated. He’s proven himself elsewhere, I’d like for him to get a chance down there.

I liked they went with two young dudes and gave them a shot during the pandemic. But Julia was the breakout star of the Varsity Blondes. Griff was just a guy too before he got hurt.
Kinda hoped they would’ve turned Pillman into a lunatic, even if that would be predictable. It’s still be better than “guy with a letterman jacket #1”

Like I said somewhere else, his chance for something was during his little feud with MJF. He could've come out of that looking like a star. Instead he looked like a schmuck and everyone forgot about him again.

Decided to pop on the show. Opening tag title match was fine, even though I’m not a fan of Tony D and Stacks.
Rok-C and Blair was a fine little weapons match that got the hometown babyface over. I didn’t like them trying to force Rok-C’s sister to cry like she was Izzy with Sasha/Bayley. It’s like Blair threw one chair shot to the back and she was breaking down. Even for a child it looked fake. Glad Rok-C won, she needs the title back.

Woof, that Gable debut was rough. He didn’t look good. Crowd were assholes and turned on him right before the match. THEY CHEERED CORBIN FOR FUCK SAKE! Then you have the shit double countout finish?

Dom retaining makes total sense, he’s the hottest act on any roster and helps NXT with ratings while getting ring time too. He should hold it for a while. Having Rhea as his muscle only adds to the act.
Whoever did Tiffany’s makeup should be fired. She’s super attractive, then you cake on the 90 lbs of makeup and she’s not.
Spazzy Thea rules and they should’ve put the title on her here. Like, what harm would it do to have Thea have a few months? I know she’s a year out of high school, but still, this is developmental, try some stuff. She’s super over.

Clunky in spots, but I dug the womens title match overall. Chase throwing the towel in for his student gives Thea an out, but she’s lost twice now. Why should she get a third shot though? Even with the reason I explained, the crowd was super hot for her here.
Unless you’re turning Andre Chase. Which is dumb if so, the whole group is over.

Main event was fantastic. I have no idea how Melo will do on the main roster and I fear his size will keep a ceiling on him. Dragunov feels like NXT is his ceiling as well.
Regardless, damn fine main event and fast forwarding to just the matches made this a 90 minute watch
