I can't for the life of me figure out the reasoning for the Taker match. Hell, during the match I was sitting there thinking maybe he would go until he's 25-0. I was coming up with possibilities for him for the next few years: Bray Wyatt Roman Reigns John Cena Daniel Bryan Sting
Even when Lesnar hit that third F-5 I was thinking, "yeah, big deal".
And then IT happened. Stunning. Probably the most stunning moment I have ever witnessed in wrestling. (I wasn't watching LIVE when Hogan turned. Or when Bret got screwed)
Has Lesnar agreed to work more dates or something? Does Taker have an illness/injury we are unaware of? Where does this leave Sting in the equation?
Weird. I bet Sara's happy though.

Wow. Still shocked at the Taker ending. It wasn't like the matches with Michaels or Hunter where you knew they weren't going to win, but the pins were so close. This was like a twenty minute resthold with a three count. I legit had my jaw dropped for a good two minutes. I'll be interested to see where the story goes now.

I don't see where the story even can go other than him retiring tomorrow night.

Taker can headline next years Wrestlemania with Sting and both can say it's their last match in the business and nobody has to worry about the streak being broken and just enjoy the matchup of two legends laying it all out there for their last match.

I want the story to be more about Heyman than Brock....not sure that is possible but I have no love for meatheads like brock. To have him get this notch in his belt sucks.

Yeah, I could see that I 'spose. Would still be a fun/epic match.

I hope he retires. I hate this taker. My taker has the long hair...the hat...Paul Bearer. The triangle mohawk, spandex suit, crown royal bag hoodie taker is not what I want to remember.

Score Jr told me that Taker and Brock are close friends. I have no idea if that's true.
He also suggested that maybe they had the streak end to overshadow Bryan. Hmmmm. It IS what we're talking about.

Well, thinking about it, if they were to do a Sting/Taker match next year at Mania, at least it'll be believable that Sting has a shot. I'm surprised it wasn't Cena who got the nod to end the streak. He's there, will be there & won't leave in a year or so.
I kinda understand ending it, Taker looks every bit of 50, but the only part I don't get is, why Lesnar? Makes absolutely no sense. You can build him to fighting for the title without this on his credits.
Missed opportunity to give a younger guy like a Bray Wyatt or a Roman Reigns, hell even Cena, who could add to his credits.

I'm also surprised that Triple didn't make it into the main event. I thought that was cool of him.
Additionally, I tried to tell you people about that no good crook Scott Armstrong!!!
Furthermore, I'd like to give Lawler credit.....not only for not wearing one of his crummy shirts but also for having a great line after Orton and Bryan went thru the table and both got screwed up. Don't recall word for word but something like: "Well that was obviously Batista's idea". I chuckled.
Also surprised AJ retained with her and Punk being engaged and everything now. Allegedly. Could've seen her possibly just leaving the sport to be with him. Hard to stay together when you're apart 300 days a year.

Hunter jobbed clean, and was hobbled to the back when he interfered in the Main Event. He put Bryan over all night.

Listening to XM92 heading home, some say you could see Taker telling Lesner something before the F5, possibly a audible. Seemed like everything was delayed. Taker looked really bad, and I think he knew it. These guys also had this Mania as a top 5, if not 3.
The first hour was great. Daniel winning the belt does nothing for me. Wyatt should've beat Cena, oh well.

The ending was shocking whatever but the actual match was fairly terrible. Woman's match was terrible. Shield match was terrible. Thought it was a fun highlight reel for Roman Reigns. Technically speaking, I didn't like the Cena/Bray match but Bray's mannerisms and such during the match made it kind of cool. The Cesaro feat of strength in the Giant invitational was a thing. The match wasn't. So I pretty much only liked the HHH/Bryan and the Bryan/Orton/Batista matches.

This mania was a borefest. So boring. Most matches were simply RAw quality at best. Very, very disappointing.

Bryan and Hunter was very good to open the show. Shield match was exactly what it should be. Battle Royal was a battle royal with nice spots sprinkled in and a "WrestleMania Moment" finish. Cena-Wyatt was disappointing. Taker-Lesnar was a terrible match that will be remembered obviously for the finish. The Divas thing was a clusterfuck. The main event was entertaining. The Batista Bomb/RKO on the tables was a fantastic visual.
Overall, it was a slightly above average show.

I fell asleep during Brock/Taker Woke up to the finish and wondered what the hell just happened. Still in disbelief. Then fell asleep again during intros to Main Event Woke up to the table spot where they stretchered Bryan. Missed all the interference from Trips and Steph. If they didn't send the crowd home happy with Bryan winning there would have been a riot. I apologize to Triple H - thank you for doing the right thing. I was wrong... for once.

If the reports aren't a work, Taker went to the hospital last night with a concussion and a neck injury from early on in the match. Would explain the horrible pacing and overall speed. Wonder if that affected the outcome... but I doubt it.

Lots of bad thoughts on Reddit about Taker match that range from "not playing Brock's music immediately shows it wasn't planned" to "Undertaker had a stroke and that's why he lost".
I don't understand the thinking, but it's obvious that this was planned. Cole was too quick with "The streak is over!" for it to have been something called on the fly.

Agreed The Shield should have squashed but that was a waste of time and talent. This mania was sooo not a mania. No holy shit moments really from a spot standpoint. Daniel Bryan, Triple H and Randy Orton were really the only good in ring performers of the night. This was just very underwhelming for what a mania should be. I think it's somewhat a lack of storylines outside of D Bry's. Cena going over on Bray and Taker giving his streak loss to LESNAR would head scratchers but that didn't bother me really. Just felt like I was watching Raw most of the night.

I think the crowd was hot leading up to the Cena match and while I appreciate what they were doing with it, it just came across flat on Tv. Cena should have lost clean to Wyatt if the story they were telling was that Wyatt kept trying to get Cena to embrace the hate. I think the reason why the Taker match was quiet is because nobody honestly thought Brock had a shot at winning that match. I commented a few times last night how I thought the crowd sucked. Also Taker probably had a concussion a few minutes into the match is what I read.
I enjoyed it. I marked out big time when Hogan/Austin/Rock were in the ring together.
