I thought the Cesaro-Show spot was memorable. So was the Powerbomb/RKO spot and the double triple powerbomb on the Outlaws.

Billy Gunn went to the hospital as well after his match with perforated blood vessels in his lungs.

The more I think about it, the more I tend to think Brock was an excellent choice to break The Streak, and quite possibly was THE best choice.
Brock is 36 and can now basically be Taker as far as Mania is concerned for like the next 10 years at least. he was always a huge draw but this just solidifies him even moreso as a Main Event player and draw going forward.
And who really knows if guys like Bray, reigns or Cesaro will pan out. It's quite possible they fade just as much as it's possible they'll be mega stars. If I'm Taker, I was there last year when jericho lost to Fandango and then I watched how the E handled Fandango afterwards. I can see his reluctancy to a so called up and comer.
Cena has done enough SuperCena things that he most certainly didn't need this accolade as well.
Bryan would've been a great choice but the timing was off.
Vince would've never let a longtime WCW guy in Sting beat the streak.
And Punk, it unfortunately turns out, probably wouldn't have been the best choice either due to his volatile nature of his interpersonal relationships.
Brock actually makes a ton of sense.

I can't remember who said it so I apologize for the lack of sourcing, but someone said something the other day that made a lot of sense with regards to Cena having been the one to break it.
Right now Cena is a face, which causes the children and ladies to love him, but most adult male fans are bored of it. So if they turn Cena heel, the children and ladies would start booing him, but everyone who has been asking for a new Cena character choice for almost 10 years now, would start cheering, so you wouldn't get a true heel turn, you'd just flip the opinion of him. That being said, I think the reaction of outrage and sadness from EVERYONE is the same reaction they would have gotten had it been Cena in that ring after a 3rd AA (But lets be honest, it only would have taken 1 and a chain shot *cough Brock @ Extreme Rules 2012 cough*) and would have gotten the whole crowd to hate Cena, instead of half.
Brock was a good choice, but I feel they missed an opportunity for a Hogan-like turn reaction had Cena won.
That being said, Cena still sells merch, and won't turn until that stops (if ever), so I understand the decision, and am perfectly fine with how it went down.

Maybe it's the lack of sleep, but I saw that and thought it was kind of funny.

The guy who will be gone in a year or 2 & wrestles 3 times a year is the one who ends the streak? Yeesh. You could hear a f'n pin drop in that place. 6 years later...

Now that the crowd is good & pissed, let's throw the broads out there to piss them off more with a good ol' cluster fuck. I stand by next post as well, haha Thank goodness the Bella's kickstarting the Divas Revolution so we could avoid matches like this anymore!

I watched this with about eight other people. We shoot had "Taker got beat guy" face. I'll never forget it. One of our former board members literally pounced to the TV where I was at. We just stared at each other for a second like there's no way it actually happened.

I would get turned on by Steph slapping me Like I said earlier, definitely not my thing. But Stephanie slapping me in a backstage vignette would probably lead to me grabbing a Trapper Keeper to cover up. It worked in Junior High. In the ring I'd probably be too focused. But you never know.

I wonder why they ran this on ESPN rather than on Fox.
And Fox has to be pissed right?

I wonder why they ran this on ESPN rather than on Fox. And Fox has to be pissed right? Fox has enough original programming (tv/reality shows) to cover those slots, just like the other big 3 are doing.
