Cesaro Suffers Eye Injury on Raw Posted by Jeremy Thomas on 07.01.2014
Uh-oh...
- WWE.com reports that Cesaro suffered an eye injury during his match against Kofi Kingston on RAW. According to WWE physician Dr. Chris Amann, "We did some specialized testing and staining of the eye which showed he did have a scratch on the right side of the eye, which is called the sclera and not on the cornea, which is the clear part of the eye."
He added, "We're going to keep his eye patched for the next 24-48 hours, use some artificial tears and re-evaluate him tomorrow prior to his match [against Dolph Ziggler on WWE Main Event]."

Roman Reigns vs. Randy Orton Still looks like Reigns vs. Triple H to me.

Reigns v Hunter is being saved. They're slowly building to it. Ambrose is pissed and going right at Rollins. Reigns realizes Hunter ruined The Shield and is going at the big picture. Awesome booking.

I think we assign "great booking" to a "HOLY SHIT" event and what we perceive it's aftermath will be. It's only great booking if it leads somewhere and follows a logical path. Kevin Nash coming out and "sticking" Punk was considered "great booking". Until the followup went nowhere. If this goes to it's logical conclusion of Reigns-HHH at Rumbel, it will be great booking.

You're absolutely correct, and everyone's skeptical thoughts are not just warranted, they are probably correct. I was also up until 2:30 last night listening to a sump pump run while sitting in my crawlspace opening. My lack of sleep could add to my view of the show.

This is why WWE can't develop new people. They always do stupid stuff.

For the record, I know Australians speak English. After all they are just a bunch of British criminals.

John Cena Turning Heel!
WWE champion John Cena is reportedly scripted for a villain role in an upcoming Tina Fey/Amy Poehler comedy movie.
Deadline.com reports that Cena will "turn heel" for his role in the movie due out in December 2015.
The movie is about two sisters who throw one last party in their parents’s soon-to-be-sold house.
Cena is also working on "Trainwreck," a movie by Dolph Ziggler's comedian ex-girlfriend Amy Schumer.

Am I the only one that's not bothered by a match ending during commercial break? Brings a certain sense of realism to it for me.

I have no problem with it but you have to do it more regularly than once every 15 years.

Maybe that's why it leaves a bad taste in mouth. I guess that's what I was remembering. At first I was thinking it used to happen in AWA too, but not so sure. I don't know but I'm good with it. Having it never end during a commercial gives the whole thing a more "scripted" feel for me, which I don't care for. Probably why I don't mind some titles changing - once in a blue moon - during house shows.

Everybody take a moment to acknowledge the greatest ref in WCW or WWE history on his birthday, Mr. Charles Robinson

Cause he's dead.
Also Tommy Young was a great referee.

Lil Naitch!
I appreciate the kudos to my refereeing prowess... but Tommy Young is the greatest of all time. Not even a debate.

Forbes Asks Whether John Cena as WWE World Champion is Best For Business Posted by Jeremy Thomas on 07.02.2014 Using revenue as a criteria... - Forbes has a new article looking at John Cena's WWE World Heavyweight Title win at Money in the Bank, asking if it's really what's "best for business." The article includes a couple of graphs that look at Cena, Randy Orton and CM Punk's title reigns and who has drawn the most money as champion. The article, which notes that "this is obviously far from a scientific study," points out that in the last five years Cena has been champion while revenue rose only once, which was his title reign from Bragging Rights 2009 through TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs of that year (when he lost to Sheamus). It adds about the four title reigns that have seen drops, "What's more, the company's income tends to rebound shortly after those title runs come to an end." The article adds that Randy Orton as champion tends to see revenues climb, while CM Punk's lengthy title reign was an up and down affair. You can see the full article at the link. www.forbes.com/sites/chrissmith/2014/07/01/is-making-john-cena-wwe-champion-whats-really-best-for-business/

After getting 74 of my last 75 predictions correct, (the exception being the Jericho Mystery Girl thing), I'm willing to put my stellar reputation on the line one more time. I do this because I'm selfless. Do NOT click the button if you don't want your SummerSlam ruined! {Spoiler}CM Punk will return to face Triple H at SummerSlam. Additionally, now that Jericho is back, the one blemish on my prediction record could in fact come true after all.
