So I've read that some of the names being throw around for the HOF next year include Rock, Mickie James, Kevin Nash and Rikishi. Does Rikishi deserve it? I know the Hall of Fame is purely based off draw and who agrees to come and at what amount of money. With that said, I was still confused that they inducted Scott Hall strictly in as Razor Ramon. One day they induct for the body of work completely outside of the WWF, the next day they only recognize the WWF. Its not like Scott Hall didn't make an impact out outside of the F as we all know. So with all that said, I'm going to base Rikishi purely on his F and E experience. 10+ years in the E: From a pure longevity in the WWF, he has enough years. Championships: 3 Tag Team Title reigns and 1 Intercontinental title reign Overall "Overness" : He never really got truly over until his run with Too Cool. This run should not be dismissed as we look back. Consider this: The Rock, Triple H, Kurt Angle, Steve Austin, Mick Foley, the freaking Attitude Era...and Rikishi still find a way to get over as well. He had some nice runs in Royal Rumbles and KOTR's during that time. His matches were by no means legendary, but usually were entertaining. He went on to deliver the classic line "I did it for The Rock." Classic Matches: This is really what its all about, right? And this is where he comes up short. I've really only got one that comes to mind. The first was his intercontinental championship rematch against Val Venis in a cage. Was actually a really good match. It finished up with him diving off the top of the steel cage. As far as moments, his bump from a hell into the back of a truck bed at Armageddon was pretty cool. If the HOF had any type of bar set, I would say no to Rikishi. Hall of really good for a short period of time. But because the WWE made this HOF more about just a celebration of their business with no real standards on who should get in or not, the arguement is kind of pointless anyway. This means this entire post was a waste of time. Thanks Koko B Ware. Because of this, he should be in.

Nash could never draw a dime from me, unless he wrestles Jeff Hardy, in Space, sans suits. (There, internet overreaction out of the way for the day. Best post ever.

No way Rikishi should make it in to the HOF. Career in WWE too short and overall career. Plus he never had a defining feud/match that made you say OH SHIT!!!

Notes From Today’s WWE House Show in Nottingham Posted by Larry Csonka on 05.17.2014
More on the show…
Credit: Mark David Bradshaw and Pwinsider.com
- Just got back from WWE Nottingham show. The notes you had for the Leeds show are the same for this in terms of Results.
A lot of disappointment from fans with no Cena or Bryan.
All the Brits were very over (Paige, Barrett) as well as the Shield.
Mark Henry dancing to Billie Jean was far more entertaining than it should have been or had any right.
Big Show vs. Kane Steel Cage match was pretty atrocious but crowd still got in to it based on star power.
NXT alumni Bo Dallas & Adrian Neville put in a great effort and got the fans into match despite minimum exposure in UK.
95% full crowd. Overall fun show but shame due to circumstances beyond control two biggest stars missing.

After months of speculation and anticipation, it appears as though Prince Devitt is finally headed to World Wrestling Enetertainment, reports the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. He is expected the join the company at some point this summer, most likely in August. As we mentioned back in January, Devitt has been in talks to join WWE since last year. Devitt is a talented performer that is skilled in the ring and brings a lot of charisma as well. Clearly WWE is enamored with him if they have been recruiting him for this long. The Irish born 32 year old Devitt became one of the biggest stars in New Japan Pro Wrestling over the last eight years. His role in The Bullet Club stable was praised by many people within the wrestling industry and clearly WWE noticed him as well. He recently thanked New Japan Pro Wrestling on his Facebook accounts: “Thank you New Japan Pro-Wrestling for the most wonderful 8 years. You helped make me the man I am today. I will never ever forget you. I’m sure we will meet again. And to the fans for all your support, I am eternally humbled.” For his part, Devitt hasn’t announced anything officially yet although now that the word is out he’s not being shy about where we will see him next. On his official Facebook page he posted the following photo and wrote: “Vote McMahon … Vince McMahon Read more at whatculture.com/wwe/prince-devitt-make-wwe-debut-summer.php#Zj7yUp4VABO6QYGS.99Fuck yes!

Jim Ross recently interviewed with Sam Roberts and discussed a variety of topics, including how he got his start in the wrestling business, the WWE 2K14 event that ultimately got him fired from WWE, the Montreal Screwjob, the angles WWE did just to humiliate him, and much more.

REPORT: KEVIN STEEN LIKELY HEADED TO WWE Posted by Ryan Clark on Monday, May 19th, 2014
Partial Source: Prowrestling.net
It is expected that ROH’s Kevin Steen will be offered a WWE developmental deal. This is according to a “well placed source”. As noted earlier today here on the website, west coast independent star Willie Mack is also expected to be offered a WWE developmental deal.
The source notes that ACH and Rocky Romero will not be getting offers. They attended the same camp as Steen and Mack. Roderick Strong took part in the camp, but there is no word in his status.

Anyone who's a fan of the actual Cranky Vince, you might want to check it out. He's escaped to Istanbul from London to avoid investigation.

Update on Vince McMahon’s Three Favorite Stars – Possible Huge Plans For One Of Them Posted by Larry Csonka on 05.21.2014
Who are in the race to become the next big thing?
- At this time, the word backstage is that Roman Reigns, Bray Wyatt and Bad News Barrett are the three favorites among Vince McMahon, Triple H, Kevin Dunn and other top executives.
As far as Reigns goes, plans seem almost locked that his first world title victory will be special and likely done at a WrestleMania. There are even rumors that his world title win could take place as soon as WrestleMania 31.
But who could Reigns work with to make his title win special? The two top names rumored right now are Brock Lesnar and The Rock. The Rock has previously told Vince McMahon that he would like to work with Reigns before he officially retires. In terms of Reigns winning the title, when asked about the Rock returning and possibly getting the title to make this happen, a source stated the following…
Yes, it would likely happen at Royal Rumble and remember he does technically have a rematch from when he lost the title to Cena."
While a lot can happen between now and WrestleMania 31, it appears that Reigns could be the babyface that WrestleMania 31 gets built around.
As far as the Reigns stuff goes, this makes no sense to me whatsoever. If Reigns is the babyface at Wrestlemania, then Brock would make sense. But what wouldn't make any sense is Brock losing just one year after ending the most famous streak in the history of wrestling. (Other than the 82 consecutive years that Bruno held the title)
If Reigns is the babyface against Rock.........well that just doesn't make sense at all. Is anybody ever the babyface when going up against the Rock?

Yeah I don't see that happening, and honestly I don't see reigns being a top star ever.. ambrose will have the greatest success of the shield

What, if any, role would you like to see Flair in right now? I don't really like the thoughts. Below. First, absolutely no to Miz. No explanation needed. Second, Ziggler would work, but he doesn't need a mouthpiece. No to The Shield. Each of those guys is either outstanding, good, or a work in progress on the mic. They ALL need to keep talking. They're also over. No need.
There’s a feeling that Flair has to come in as a babyface but he always prefers to work as a heel so there’s on word yet on what role he will play. One idea suggested was to put Flair with The Miz to continue the storyline they began several months ago when Miz began using the Figure Four after Flair’s blessing. The hope is that Flair will help elevate Miz as a top babyface. There are some who believe this could be wasting Flair and that Miz is damaged goods.
Flair reportedly wants to manage Dolph Ziggler but it’s clear WWE hasn’t been pushing Ziggler for more than a year now. They also discussed having Flair manage The Shield to continue the angle from RAW a few weeks back but Evolution’s future is up in the air.
With the most recent deal that Flair signed with WWE, they still have to approve all of his appearances. A problem could be brewing as there are reportedly negotiations, which could easily fall through, for an overseas wrestling tour that would see flair actually wrestling in the ring.

I would certainly keep Flair far, far away from The Shield. The Shield doesn't need any tinkering with whatsoever.
I don't know whatever happened to Miz but it happened. And it ain't pretty. Except for the Maryse part.
I'm just not sure Flair can really handle any role. He seems like he needs some DDPYoga if you ask me.
But if they really feel the need to do something with him, I don't hate the Ziggler idea. Dolph maybe doesn't need a mouthpiece as bad as some others but he's not necessarily top notch in that department.
I'm just of the impression that trainwreck Flair would be more sad to see than it would be good or even funbad.

I have no interest in Flair on screen amymore. Unless he's in a wheelchair being affiliated with the BFFs. Any type of wheelchair Flair return would be beyond amazing. Imagine a scene where Daniel Bryan has kidnapped wheelchair Flair, and brings him to the top of the ramp. As he's doing the "YES!" he forgets to hold the chair. Hey, I just got Daniel Bryan over again!!!
