Ibushi officially returned yesterday afternoon. Happy he’s back, I know his shoulder was tender during training but hopeful he stays healthy.
Meanwhile, Speedball wrestled Tanahashi later on last night on top of this. He has like 4 more matches this weekend too. Crazy.

Pro Wrestling Revolver did a female tournament today and it was won by Billie Starkz. This gives off Super 8 vibes from the indies back in the day, the tournament that really put a lot of names on the map. Renee was the “commissioner” for the show and Moxley raised Billie’s hand post win. Very cool moment.
Emi Sakura, Janai Kai, Trish Adora, Allysin Kay, Marina Shafir, VertVixen & Rachel Armstrong were the other participants.

Probably not the best look to have a guy like Velveteen Dream, who was released due to child predator accusations be the surprise name for your main event and not give your paying customers a chance to determine whether they want to support your promotion or not (I personally wouldn’t have went had I known he was on the card). They’re doubling down though.
Also apparently Rita Chatterton was an invited guest as well. Way to read the room. Yikes.

I've watched this like 30-50 times today. Tears have streamed down my face every fn time. Not sure why. I'm so soft. I guess it's tears of joy. I focus on a different fan every time. The music is in my wheelhouse. Orange is probably my favorite wrestler in AEW. It's all so good. I guess I just fucking love pro wrestling. |
