As long as the definition means watching too much television, even if it is outstanding.

As I enter the homestretch of my unexpected Game of Thrones marathon, a few reminders. One, this show is pure genius. Two, "The Winds of Winter" is possibly the greatest episode in the history of television. Three, if your wife, girlfriend, really anyone says Cersei Lannister is their favorite character, head for zee hills.

Doing the marathon again. The Jaime Lannister face turn should be required viewing before writing for WWE. This show is so amazing. I'm still picking up little stuff I missed and still popping at the end of some episodes I've seen multiple times.

I've been reading the Fire and Blood book about the Targaryens. Pretty good read though it only covers the first half of the dynasty.

I've been reading the Fire and Blood book about the Targaryens. Pretty good read though it only covers the first half of the dynasty. One or two spinoffs would be fine. The rumored six would be excessive and bad. I was reading a book on a flight this year and someone was staring at me like I had four heads. It felt good to be an old person for three hours. #Sad I could make Sam a thing if I could book him for 1 1/2 years in wrestling.

For me it's behind Breaking Bad and The Wire. For now.
I don't see it surpassing Breaking Bad but it can top The Wire with a great final season.

Watched it again. So many layers. Loved it. Finally watched it - I thought it was great. When Cersei finally gets hers it is going to be a top 5 TV moment...

Tyrion has to have a redemption moment as well. Something to remind us that he used to be the smartest guy in the Seven Kingdoms instead of the walking joke he's been for a couple seasons.

I definitely think Tyrion needs a big spot at some point, but I don't think he's been a joke. Where do you see it?

He's been a sitcom character for a while now. The Eunuch jokes in particular.
He got outsmarted at every turn last season.
And now he supposedly believes Cersei?
Sansa was right in her assessment of Tyrion.

Sansa was right in her assessment of Tyrion. I guess I believe that all leads to something. I've never lost faith in him throughout everything you stated. Although everything from his past could make him start to think he isn't the brightest guy in the kingdoms.

That's what I hope. That he isn't just dumb now and has a plan.
But it's hard to think that after seeing how Tyrion was portrayed in the first few seasons. Once the book material was gone, it seems like Tyrion, Varys, and to a lesser extent Littlefinger lost their intellect.

Once the book material was gone, it seems like Tyrion, Varys, and to a lesser extent Littlefinger lost their intellect. We could say their characters were being written by television producers instead of Martin, but........well there could be something to that. However, the characters, at least Tyrion, are strong in my eyes. Varys hasn't had much since the amazing admission of his expectation of life.
