Kane is useless at this point. Not for sure where they go from here. I really think the move is to have H make a move for Brock Lesnar to destroy Bryan.
Wrong ending for this show.

Terrible match and below average PPV. My Ratings Below: Rob Van Dam vs Cesaro vs. Jack Swagger = **1/2 Handicap Match: Alexander Rusev vs. R-Truth and Xavier Woods = 1/2* Bad News Barrett vs. Big E Langston = ** The Shield vs. Evolution = ****1/4 John Cena vs. Bray Wyatt = **3/4 Tamina Snuka vs. Paige = 1/2* Kane vs. Daniel Bryan = **3/4 Looking at this as a whole, was kind of an odd ppv for how great the television has been lately. |

The Shield match was the only match worth a damn.
The cage match was bad with an atrocious ending, as was the main event. Kane could blame the loss on the fire extinguisher guy causing him to get blindsided with the knee. But then that would extend the feud.

If PG fire extinguisher guys weren't there, Kane would have legitimately been lit on fire. He totally botched lighting that table. At least the top of his legs below the knee and just above. I was actually cheering for them to come out.

Oh buckets, these guys make it tough to find a way to listen. Also, the "featured" hosts make Bernstein look like Brad Pitt. www.tsn.ca/toronto/listen/JR will be on in the second half. I'm sure he's going to be a bitter old man. :-) Overall, the show peaked, and sunk. Maybe that's why Hunter was on in the middle conspiracy people. It really went down. Cena v Wyatt is perfect if they don't have to wrestle. The styles don't work. I loved the deal with the kid, but the voice absolutely has to go. The kid didn't have to say a thing. Just stand there. Why is he standing there? Does he know Cena? Blah blah. It's better, and you extend the deal. When Shawn Michaels was Paige's age, he was AWA Tag Champs with Jannetty. Just saying. She's going to be the best ever if she can handle the pressure. Shield v Evolution was amazing. DB v Kane was overbooked. I think they were worried about what everyone said. Why do we care about this match? They could be trying to sink Bryan's reign. Seriously. Back to the Cena/Wyatt deal. When Hogan would climb over the cage, he couldn't pin anyone. Why is the face trying to climb out? The cowardly heel should be trying to win in that way. I would have loved a moment where either was trying to climb, but the other was waiting in the middle of the ring. No grabbing a leg. Come back and fight...... |

Sounds like I didn't miss much except the Shield match. Finally dropped my brother/designated driver off after him being here all weekend. Told him we were going to a sit down Little Caesars for pizza and then told him I forgot my wallet in the car when we got there. It was in Tinley Park. So expect him late tonight Drop In.

But not both. Completely disagree. This is going to be that old school feud we think used to happen in our youth. Well, it did. But that was to make everyone come to every show without an outcome. This has legs, despite their horrible chemistry in the ring. But Cena and Wyatt are smart enough to do matches around the turn, and make the next match awesome. The styles just don't work. Austin said for years, and some of it is bullshit, that his match with Hogan would be horrible. Nothing to do with psych or creative. They just wouldn't work in the ring. All or most of the moves of each competitor are high impact. That doesn't work. That's why Mania fell flat. This was half psych/half booking. The next match could be sick. It might go to SummerFest TM. |

I'm sure it was touched on in the first 8 pages, but what was up with the evolution shirts? Are they dead? Or was flair back stage with a bottle of crown drawing up tshirt ideas. Shield should have worn them.

Though I do think that the kid(s) should have been a one and done. It was so surreal on Monday night that I would've never gone back to it in any form. Good ol' JR was pretty damn enjoyable on the LAW last night, as well as on with Keller the other day. Ross seems to shine in a roundtable format. Seems to bring out a lot of passion in him. On the other hand, I think he tries to be so thorough and professional (when not being creepy) on his podcast that it just doesn't work for him in that capacity. |
