Cool.
Bash '96 also featured the first of five classic 1996 TV matches between Rey Mysterio and Dean Malenko. This was their first ever meeting.
I know you guys don't like Rey, but he was great. Only 20 years old at the time too.

Only 20 years old at the time too. No problem. Don't tell me how it ends so that I can at least root for Malenko to kick the crap out of him.

I wouldn't hate Rey so much if anybody would ever book him realistically. I suppose it's not his fault. I've been pissed ever since his win over Nash. (And I'm far from a Nash mark)

(And I'm far from a Nash mark) Ah...so you liked him in cruiserweight matches. Just not against heavyweights. Exactly. Just not realistic to me when he's in against the heavyweights. I also thought the unmasking was a mistake. (Which again, is not his fault I assume)

Booking him as the "Giant Killer" was fun for one time. After that it became tired.

This was before Tony Schiavone became a heartless shill. Pre-nWo. Hall and Nash had no names yet.

Did I just see the current outside linebackers coach for the Green Bay Packers? This is already spectacular.

How the hell did Rick Steiner get over by barking and wearing headgear? That would never fly these days Back then, anytime you could get the crowd to play along (Woof! Woof!), you could get over.
