Holy crap, I didn't even realize this had started. I skipped ahead to follow along. However, I saw the Rick Steiner/Norton comment. I just saw a match the other day where Norton dropped Steiner on his head. They seemed to hurt each other all the time. By the way, I once confessed to Bob Loblaw that I only work to become successful enough to have Scott Norton as a bodyguard. True story. Awesome LOL Criminal 1: Hey, let's go steal the copper pipe out of that house. Criminal 2: The house that's owned by that dude with Scott Norton as a bodyguard? Fuck that. Criminal 1: Good call.

Crowd hated Bagwell as a face. Almost a "Die Rocky Die" vibe. As I type that, Schiavone says, "The fans love Bagwell."

Now I know the origin of the DDP Yoga move where you wrap a steel chair around your rib and shoulder.

This was Father's Day? Holy shit! This aired the same day the '96 Bulls beat Seattle in the Finals! I didn't realize that.

Brilliant psychology - shield the ref from seeing you use the rope for leverage. Love it.

Nice that they give each PPV match at least 12 min too. Amazing concept.

I gotta say this...Bagwell would have been GREAT if he'd gone the WWF route instead of WCW.

This is really wild. This is/was in my timeframe where I didn't watch wrestling. The NWO thing was what brought me back after like a decade.

That's one of the ways that ECW and the Attitude Era killed psychology. That's the fault of Vince and WWE. In ROH, and to a lesser extent TNA, you still see that type of psychology.

Okay. Rey vs. Malenko! Sit back, relax, strap it down, cinch it up, hunker down, bow your neck, and shut the fuck up.
Y'all bout to witness a classic.
