Honestly, I thought Barber was a solid upper mid guy as a yut. Totally bought in. The only time I questioned was when he beat Perfect at Mania. I remember thinking as a twelve-year-old that it didn't make sense. I expected a countout deal. I'm not just saying that now because it's popular.

I did end up watching about an hour of Survivor Series 1990 with a six-year-old last night. Pre-bar, not after. It included a bit where Honky Tonk Man was a Hogan like character telling kids to eat their veggies and go to school. Almost got a bigger pop than Dusty.
