I don't have any recollection of the goon Black Scorpion gimmick. Zero.

Who is Hogan's tag partner there? I can't make out the face. Evad Sullivan. F me for knowing that.

I don't remember any of this PPV so far (except the main event). This is like new wrestling to me. I'd watch this over current Raw or Smackdown if they were competing for my air time.

Marcus Bagwell v Paul Roma. Let's see Hogan and Flair keep up with that work rate.

Heenan was so good as a commentator. The way he is speaking about Bagwell here and putting him over.

I think Vader v Boss Man is a bit of a shoot at the beginning.

I'm surprised he was able to retain "Honky Tonk Man" looking back. I remember reading in Bischoff's book how Honky was his favorite person he ever got to fire in WCW. I know he only hired him (along with Beefcake/Nastys/Duggan) all as favors to Hogan, so when Honky didn't want to do the job to Badd at Starrcade (which would've been the finish of their feud), he enjoyed knowing he'd fire him.
Wish I'd seen this thread last night. Mid 90's WCW PPVs were notoriously shit.
Don't feel bad about knowing Evad Sullivan, Drop In. I still remember him walking around with Ralph the bunny. It was WCW's equivalent of Eugene, just 10 years earlier.

Looked this up too. The 2nd wrestling show ever held at the Mark of the Quad was in 94 by WCW. I remember it coming, but I didn't watch around that time as a kid, but the card is a mix of shit & actually kind of awesome. A young Triple H teaming with Paul Roma against the fucking Nastys? Big Boss Man vs Steven Regal? Bunkhouse Buck in a steel cage main event?
WCW @ Moline, IL - Mark of the Quad - November 11, 1994 (attendance 2,500) WCW TV Champion Johnny B. Badd fought the Honkytonk Man to a 15-minute time-limit draw Dave Sullivan defeated Kevin Sullivan via reverse decision The Nasty Boys defeated Paul Roma & Jean Paul Levesque (sub. for an injured Paul Orndorff) The Guardian Angel defeated Lord Steven Regal (sub. for an injured Vader) WCW US Champion Jim Duggan defeated Steve Austin via disqualification Sting & Dustin Rhodes defeated Arn Anderson & Bunkhouse Buck in a steel cage match
Woodridge, did you go to this? I remember going to the 1st WWF house show there in 93 and the 5-6 hour marathon WWF TV tapings in 95 (where we had the actual TV debut of Triple H), but didn't go to this WCW one.
Only went to the Great American Bash 97 and then a house show in 2000.

I'm sure I ordered this show on PPV, but I swear I didn't remember a single part. I only knew about the Hogan v Flair match because of all the stories leading up to it. Flair had already lost to Hogan twice and ticket sales were really slow in Detroit. Bischoff went to Flair and asked him to put his career on the line. Flair said that was fine, but he wanted a new contract. Got it done during the show.
