 HORNSWOGGLE VS. EL TORITO (HAIR VS. MASK MATCH): The bull isn't losing his mask so expect KS to get his head shaved and start wearing a black fedora like his dad did.  RUSEV VS. BIG E: Rusev has made his way through the ethnic side of the roster with the exception of Big E. Rusev wins after Lana take the Big E and Rusev Ukraines him for the victory.  UNITED STATES CHAMPION SHEAMUS VS. CESARO: Sheamus has been floundering as a good guy and Cesaro is floundering as a bad guy. WrestleMania 13 double turn here and Sheamus keeps the title. Heyman sells frustration with Cesaro, leading toward the eventual Lesnar-Cesaro match at SummerFest.  INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPION BAD NEWS BARRETT VS. ROB VAN DAM: If you expect Rob Van Dam to topple Wade Barrett, well I'm afraid I've got some BAD NEWS for you. The Barrett rise back to the top continues and RVD continues to be used as enhancement talent.  JOHN CENA VS. BRAY WYATT (LAST MAN STANDING MATCH): Maybe this will be it. Maybe this will be the match where Bray and Cena finally mesh and put on a great match. The Last Man Standing stip will allow Cena to lose without being pinned (again) so expect Harper and Rowan and Little Johnny to hold Cena down while Sister Abigail grinds away and Bray wins.  DIVAS CHAMPION PAIGE VS. ALICIA FOX: Crazy Alicia Fox has been the best gimmick in the Divas division since Mania. But there's no way Alicia wins the belt. Unless AJ makes a surprise appearance and costs Paige the belt, leading to a feud which culminates a loser-leaves-town match at SummerFest. But there's no way that will happen. Or will it?  Daniel Bryan's Decision: Bryan has to relinquish the WWE World Heavyweight Championship or Hippie Bella will be fired. He will refuse to surrender the belt and Kane will drag Brie out to the ring. Steph will threaten that unless Bryan gives up the belts, Kane will send Brie to hell. Bryan will reluctantly surrender the title, only to have Brie smile and kick Bryan in the nuts and make out with Kane. Then we find out it was really Tits Bella fooling no one but the announcers and performers. Swerve.  THE SHIELD VS. EVOLUTION (NO HOLDS BARRED ELIMINATION MATCH): I see this going one of two ways: 1) Rollins eliminates Orton first. Then Hunter eliminates Rollins. Then Reigns eliminates Batista. This leaves Reigns and Ambrose against Hunter. Ambrose and Reigns corner HHH and then Ambrose turns heel and he and Hunter destroy Reigns. Then Ambrose is the newest member of Evolution. Or 2) Orton eliminates Ambrose. Reigns eliminates Batista. Hunter eliminates Rollins leaving HHH and Orton against Reigns. Reigns takes out both Orton and HHH and is the last guy left standing as the PPV goes off the air. |

BIG E: Rusev will win. No question. No reason to take away his momentum. Big E is already floundering so another loss won't make him flounder much worse. UNITED STATES CHAMPION SHEAMUS VS. CESARO: Sheamus wins. I feel like they want to toy with the Cesaro in the World Title picture soon. INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPION BAD NEWS BARRETT VS. ROB VAN DAM: Barrett wins but the real winner is RVD who has led the march to legalization for decades. Truly a man ahead of his time. JOHN CENA VS. BRAY WYATT (LAST MAN STANDING MATCH): Thinking that at some point they get close to the crowd and that little kid dude clocks Cena with a foreign object. Bray Wins. DIVAS CHAMPION PAIGE VS. ALICIA FOX: Paige has decades left in the business. Not so sure with Alicia. No question in my mind that Vince probably loves the shit out of this gimmick. As well he should. Plus the tour of England is done. And so is Paige. Alicia wins. Daniel Bryan's Decision: Brie Bella tells Steph that Daniel can't give up the belts or she gets fired. Steph asks her "Why not?" Brie tells Steph, "Because I quit" SLAP!!! THE SHIELD VS. EVOLUTION (NO HOLDS BARRED ELIMINATION MATCH): Shield wins. Somehow Batista screws up more than the other two. On Raw, Batista is given the thumbs down and is destroyed. Ziggler, Ryback or Miz join Evolution.

Right. I get him winning, but that didn't even keep Cesaro strong. That was awful. I thought it kept Cesaro strong just fine. He was dominant and then got beat on a cheap little snatchy move by Sheamus. Just let his guard down for a second but I still thought of him as the clearly dominant one in the match. I'm hoping they have higher aspirations for Cesaro and that's what this was all about. Plus Sheamus just won the thing and as much as I don't care for him, they may as well keep the belt on him for a bit. Not too mention I called it ^up there^ somewhere, so there's that too.  |
