Abbey Laith aka Kimber Lee on the indys was apparently released yesterday. No reason as to why yet.
Shame they didn't use her at all aside from the Mae Young Classic where she had one of the best matches of the tournament vs Jazzy Gabert.
Wonder why she got cut? She had experience, could wrestle really well, was over with the crowd when she was shown. Lots of other girls there with far less experience & skills.

That's odd.
Unless she requested it, no real reason to cut her.

The only thing I've read on reddit, which, take that for what it's worth, is there has been issues of multiple roomates of hers requesting to move out & Ruby Riot distanced herself from her. Also that she's wasn't taking this as seriously as she should.
Don't know if any of that's true though. I do think they flooded themselves with female hirings & had to cut some. They signed a LOT of girls after the MYC (still wish they would've signed Toni Storm & Piper Niven, but that's another thread) & they don't use many girls on TV as it is anyway.
I'm assuming she won't be the only one.

Sage Beckett also released. She was in the MYC too in a bad match against Bianca Belair (at least I thought it was). She used to be Rosie Lottalove in TNA and lost a shit ton of weight. Which we've talked about on here before.
I've read she might want to do something else instead of actually wrestling, whether that be a different role in wrestling or something else entirely who knows.

On International Women's Day no less!
Bad optics, WWE.

Man Enzo and Cass were over huge and now both are gone. I would have put good money on those guys being huge main roster stars when they were in NXT. Sure I knew Enzo was a douche, but those guys came off as very likeable humans on the Austin pod.

Enzo got caught up in the #MeToo hysteria and paid the price for a crazy person telling tales.

Didn’t Cass get heat for going off-script on a promo a couple of months ago?

Didn’t Cass get heat for going off-script on a promo a couple of months ago? I think it was for beating up the little person. Which is especially baffling to a message board group that knows KS.

If you told me when I first saw Enzo, Cass & Carmella together that out of the 3, Carmella would be the last one standing and the women's champ, I'd think you were nuts.
He has potential, but needs a LOT of work on his promos & in ring work. Plus he needs to take this time to revamp his entire look.
Everything about Big Cass screams generic wrestler.

Going against Vince's orders during the little person segment was what started it and then this incident which was posted on ProWrestlingSheet.....I immediately thought of the Tommy Boy scene in the bathroom getting changed. I know that scene is a plane not a bus, but still. According to Sports Illustrated, Big Cass was apparently drinking during the European tour which took place a week later and allegedly had “attitude issues.” They also claim “being intoxicated in public” is one of the underlying reasons for his firing.
Multiple sources tell us one of the incidents which rubbed people the wrong way happened in private, however, on the WWE bus chauffeuring talent.
We’re told the bathroom lock was apparently broken, but Cass didn’t realize it and thought he was being pranked. After being stuck inside for too long, a claustrophobic/angry Cass broke down the door. This meant people had to embarrassingly use the bathroom afterward with no door.
This, obviously, made some of the riders on the bus unhappy. It’s worth noting that some understood his frustration though and weren’t as angry as others.

Everything about Big Cass screams generic wrestler. Thank you. I've been saying this since he returned from his injury. I don't really like seeing anyone get fired but there is clearly no upside. Watching MITB vs. Bryan, it was painfully obvious that this guy just doesn't have "it". No presence, no charisma, no personality. When you make a Daniel Bryan match boring, it's your fault period. Big Cass is Test 2.0. Now, that's not to say that he can't get better and come back at some point. Look no further than Drew McIntyre for an example of a bland big man who had to leave WWE in order to become a better performer. Best of luck to Cass.

Bad year for Cass. Mangles his ACL, Loses his Smokeshow girl, loses his partner, now gets whacked.

This is from wrestlingnews.co. Apparently there was an incident with Cass and Carmella.
We were told that he went up to her and, according to a well-placed source, caused a scene while asking her to forgive him, apparently in hopes for a reconciliation. Carmella tried to walk off but he grabbed her arm and wrestlers in the area stepped in. We’re told that The Usos and Erick Rowan were the ones to get Cass to back away.
Well, once word got back to management, the call was made to fire him. Vince McMahon called Cass into a room and broke the news to him hours before Smackdown Live in Toledo. This recent incident would also explain why he was not wished well in his future endeavors when WWE.com announced his release.

We identified it being a rough year. Sounds like he's getting hammered to mask it and being a dick. Hopefully he banked some money (aside from the giant house with Carmella) and he can take a year away from WWE.

Nick Miller from TM-61 (now just The Mighty) in NXT has been released.
He and Shane Thorne are a good team it's just injuries really hampered them getting any push or anything going in NXT.
They just had a match this week on NXT TV against Oney & Burch.

This one is actually pretty surprising.
Arn Anderson, who had been a long-time producer for WWE, is no longer with the company.
Pro Wrestling Sheet reported overnight that Anderson exited WWE on Thursday and had "apparently been let go" by the company. Further details on why Anderson is departing WWE have yet to be revealed.
They've hired Shawn Daivari, Abyss, Shane Helms and Jeff Jarrett as producers recently.
Maybe Double A helps AEW?
