He can't keep you from being at a public establishment. He doesn't own it. Why wouldn't you go, just to piss him off. There will be at least a few normal people there. Can't swing it. Way too swamped at work, and being out a portion of last week didn't help. Depending on when I can get out, it is a possibility, albeit an unlikely one. |

Looks like the EGV one opened up when I was in Cleveland the past several days. Noticed it this morning. I'll stop there probably for breakfast and lunch, and report back.

He truly thinks I (know how / am able) to hack his forum. It is almost...cute? I think I said this already, but it reminds me of those terrible 1990's movies where they show junior high kids hacking into school records to edit their grades by typing really super fast on their keyboards. If I knew how to do these things, I'd be working for the federal government in cyber counter-intelligence. Alot more money not working for the Feds. Private sector pays better  Either way...I dun got no skillz |

I've never messed with a free forum like this before, but almost a decade ago I was an admin on a couple of gaming boards. If you need any back-end help (hi cookie), give me a holler and I may be able to help. I know HTML and phpBB decently enough, and could probably figure this out. Hey little buddy, I have a question. Not so much a technical one......but how does a place like proboards make money? Supposedly there's banner ads but I have yet to see them. From everything I've read, the bandwidth/storage is free and unlimited. Is it just the traffic we generate that helps them in some way? We're now getting about 10,000 page views per day. They make money by licensing more expensive, but convenient, domain names. Since they do all the work, they charge extra money. I cannot stress how little data and bandwidth a forum takes up. If the forum doesn't host any images or videos (besides avatars), there is so little data transfer it is ridiculous. Open up a word document and type a 20 page paper. Save it as text. Look at the size of file. It is pathetic. Every time bagman brought this up, it took everything in my power to not call him a straight up liar. I was running a 20-person counter-strike gaming server throughout 2012...you can imagine a gaming server would take up a ton more data... I was paying $14.90 a month, after some small discounts. No bandwidth limits...I did own a separate shared web host server at $6.00 a month as well, to host images and MOTD html files that the server used for daily messages and what have you. I imagine a message board with the size and activity of CSFMB could easily fit on a $10.00 a month webhost. With plenty of bandwidth to spare. |

By the way, who's mult is Hockey Gay? I always thought that was Darkside or Free Ajent. He is a real person. Myself, Kirkwood, denidman, and FF have met him. I've never had a mult with a post. |
