Here's the deal guys. A little over a year ago I was in the best shape of my life. Over the course of 2014 I've completely fallen off. I'm pretty pissed at myself honestly. So I come to the board as a way to hold myself accountable and for you guys to make fun of me, motivate me or call me a loser if I don't follow through. Sicne January 1 I've gained 24 pounds, added 9% to my body fat percentage and my BMI has gone up 3 points. So here's where I am at and where I want to be initially. CurrentlyWeight 173.1 Body Fat: 22.1% BMI: 24.7 GoalWeight 150 (though if muscle build prevents that number, I'm fine with that) Body Fat: 15.5% (most important) BMI: 21 I will post my statistics (when possible) and work-out for that day. It is pathetic it has come to this, but this is a start to be less pathetic.

Day 1
Weight 173.1 Body Fat: 22.1% BMI: 24.7
Work-out Warmup + Upper Body 1 training
Work-out with warmup was all of 30 minutes max. I will say I am hurting more after 30 than my usual 45 minute routine. Worked some muscles I wasn't working before. Having a video keeps you moving. All in all, I thought this was a perfect first workout of a plan.
Also I've noticed I feel much more flexible right now in my upper body. I feel like my shoulders have been rounded in lately and now I feel stretched up up there. I feel pretty good after thisworkout.

You want to workout and lose 23 pounds to get to 150? What, you want to be a high school wrestler again?

You want to workout and lose 23 pounds to get to 150? What, you want to be a high school wrestler again? I must say WR, that seems extreme. We're about the same height. Sorry KS. When I was emaciated from tennis my senior year of HS, I was 155. 170 would be a lean fighting weight. 180/182 is what I'm shooting for right now.

Yea, I was 150 on Jan 1 and in excellent shape. But not much bulk up top so I'd be willing to settle into 160 down the road. Its really not about weight per say. BF%, lean and muscle is key for me

I'm in. One of the caveats of moving to NC was getting in better shape and doing more outside with the kids. I don't know how you measure your body fat percentage - you have one of those pinchy things they used in high school? And BMI is bullshit - not worth worrying about that number.

Hydrostatic is dead on accurate though. You could also just try mixing in a vitamix shake for once!!

What exactly is the HHH workout. I thought that pic would be a link to it.

Day 2
Weight 172.6
Body Fat: 22.0%
BMI: 24.7
Work-out
Warmup + Lower Body Workout
This one really kicked my ass. I never done a very good job of resistance lower body training. Good exercises again. Very practical. All with dumbbells which is key for me because I can do it at home. I'm much more pooped than last night. Some more Triple H moments I giggled at.

I'm into my 3rd day of my 15th reboot of DDP yoga. I'm drinking the last two days but that's cuz I'm off and I can. I eat healthy during the week it's just the booze and the late night cravings to go along with it.
Good luck to u

Day 3
Weight 171.3
Body Fat: 21.7%
BMI: 24.75
Work-out
Warmup + Mobility
These were all stretches known as the "Agile 8." I was somewhat thankful this didn't include weights today because I still am a little sore (in a good way). My glutes seem to hurt more than anything else so far. Triple H told me everyone loves pigeons. Yes, there is no doubt WWE Creative wrote for this.
Now, I know there will be days I still gain weight and expect some up and downs as I go through this (I haven't had a beer this week either). I've lost two pounds in two days. Not thinking much about that. I have felt a lot better the last couple of days.

Day 4
Weight 173.3
Body Fat: 22.2%
BMI: 24.78
Work-out
Warmup + Upper Body 2
This set of exercises will be the absolute death of me. I couldn't finish some of the sets or had to take a one lift breather and come back. This was a pretty intense couple of circuits, but something a beginner still could find a way to manage through. The best thing I'm liking about this workout right now is the commentary reminding me to stand, move, or keep my posture in a certain way. They also do a good job with stretch and cooling down afterwards. This is somethign I rarely did before. I end up feeling better afterwards because of it.
So far I must say this was just what I personally needed to keep me moving.
Weight Situation - I did have a happy hour tonight and I think that is reflected in my numbers. I'd expect tomorrow's numbers to look like Day 3's again.

One thing you are going to struggle with at first is that as you start building muscle you will absorb some water weight in those muscles and then you will also start to gain lean mass. Therefore your wt could actually go up or stay the same but your body fat percentage should start decreasing and then the wt will follow. Are you using one of those impedance scales?

Body fat % is the most important target for me. Weight essentially doesn't matter if I feel good. It will naturally make its way down. If my body fat gets back down to at least 15%, then I don't care what weight that is.

Day 5
Weight: 173.1 BF%: 22.0 BMI 24.8
WarmUp + Muscle-Building Cardio
Ok, this is the one that destroyed me. Our Cerebral Assassin offered a puke bucket for his fellow training mates. More jokes that everyone has to laugh at. Best thing after five days is how much energy I seem to have throughout the day. Feels good to be back and take control.

There is no way HHH is allowing 2 days rest!!! Hahaha! I was shocked too. This is the only 2 day rest period out of the entire plan. Never again.

When you return for the next day of workouts, Hunter will be talking, and Vince will yell in the background "Two days of rest?!?! You're a weak millennial pal!"

Day 8
Weight 172.7
Body Fat: 22.0%
BMI: 24.7
Work-out
Warmup + Upper Body 1 training
Back to the grind. Was a bit easier this time. I'm definitely more flexible. My body metrics aren't showing it yet, but I continue to feel better. Need to have a good week of eating right.

Day 9
Weight 172.5 Body Fat: 21.9%

Work-out

This one is still difficult. Metrics remain stagnant. I continue to feel better. Would like to start to see this belly shed a bit. Going to stick to the plan for now.

Day 10
Weight: 172.3 Body Fat%: 22.0 BMI: 24.6
Work-out
Warmup + Mobility
My glutes are incredibly sore. If I get anything out of this workout, it will be that my core has strengthened and my glutes are in much better shape.
