I guess it wasn't vetoed. That was even more one sided than the trade that was vetoed. Interesting.
I don't support vetoes at all among two consenting players, and wish we fidn't even have them, so I don't undetstand why, if you are going to have vetoes in the first place, why they are used so inconsistently.
Who is Bob Loblaw? Is he really a player or a fake account, like Nick's team is?

So what is Speeps gonna do. As it stands now, Jack or Kirkwood are gonna win the week. Ball is in Speeps' court to try to win the week. Will he or won't he.

Drop in, I see a pending transaction in which you trade three positions with Bob Loblaw and you got the better player at all three positions. Is that real...did he actually agree to that??? Or is it just an offer you made?

ahhh...the old Friday night game in San Jose State's Spartan Stadium. How special this could be if we could only wind the clock back nearly 40 years. Back in those days, one corner of Spartan Stadium was basically the "Stoner Corner". The cloud of smoke was sometimes so thick that if you were sitting there, you couldn't see the game very well. Not sure if it was the smoke or the buzz, but nobody really cared anyway. Steve DeBerg was the quarterback and he threw it all over the place, and they scored a lot of points, so it was a fun time to go to the games...even though the team, then as now, didn't really ever win any titles or anything.

I don't think the city has nearly the snake issues we have 20 minutes away in the country. I wanted partially rural, and with the snakes, I got it.
I forget if I posted this, but one of our dogs was bit by a rattlesnake early on. So my wife wants a shotgun ...to use on the snakes. Shovel does the job for me just fine. The idea of Annie Oakley firing a wide pattern of shot across our yard doesn't really do it for me, especially with dogs and deer running around. but she would surely fit right in.

Two weekends in a row we have had tropical storm like weather. Here we go again. I'm not sure where all this rain is going to go, other than flood still-saturated ground, and streams and rivers that are still well above normal...and roadways everywhere. I had two large trees that had probably been weakened by the drought that fell in last week's storm. It's quite a thing to hear a big tree fall. I wonder what will fall this week. And maybe worst of all, the golf courses are probably going to be flooded again. WTF.

Week 8 Results and Standings
Chus Scratches Out A Profit and Wins A Weak Week Chus had a winning record this week and that's all that was necessary as he was the only one to finish in the black. Terry's Peeps still leads the overall contest comfortably, but he's slowly coming back to the pack with two losing weeks in a row. The problem is, only Hawg and Chus are treading water, while everybody else keeps sinking.
But it's a new week. Hope springs eternal.

Congrats Chus!

Chus is sitting tight with his lead. ok. Here we go I have been out of the hunt most weeks, but this week, I like side and total, so let's take a shot..
Carolina -5.5 Under 45.5, 2**
If Carolina covers 5.5 and over 45.5 hits, Hawg wins the week If Carolina and under, I win the week If Indy covers, Chus wins the week
Good luck fellas.

Hawg, After I posted the correct number, you posted that play again...I think in copying the previous post you had made. But since you posted that play again after I informed the board the number was wrong and updated the number, I thought you wanted that play, so I counted it. Had you not reposted that play again, I wouldn't have counted it.
