I am not disparaging NASCAR - only saying they are responding incorrectly to a paid instigator using it to get ratings and put himself over. jackref is a terrible Nascar fan. He is, I am starting a petition to kick his ass out of the south.

I'm not saying Kurt Busch is sane, or courts matter. However, if he's being honest......
Could you imagine sitting at home, and your wife/girlfriend says "Hey big cat, ignore the bloody clothes. I'm here to shower, relax, cover everything up for our government, and bang the shit out of you!" "Hide the clothes!" I think I might be in.

Hey, do you remember "Rob" and the Princess of Monaco? Is it Monaco or Monnaco? Well anyway, she's dead. As are her two brothers, dad, and a guy in Istanbul. Did you back the Suburban in? Because you never know what will happen inside. I want a Gumballhead and turn down service. Great talk lover.

Jeffy is shutting it down after this season. This has been a long time coming with all of the retirement speculation over the years. Welcome to the 24 car Chase Elliot. Please find a new sponsor for Chase in 2016. AARP is probably the most uninteresting sponsor in the history of NASCAR. He is only 43 though....that is pretty young to shut it down. I wonder if he is ready to be an owner.

Yes it is, but he has young kids and all the money may have just said screw it.

Just looked it up. He has a net worth of $200 million. DAMN!

That 200 mil is why I think he gets a team together. If a mountain man like Stewart can do it then a suave businessman like jeffy can do it better.

He'll be back full in two years. I don't mean that in a negative way. He started really young by 1990's standards, and he's got a ton of money. I like the idea about him starting a team. Take a little time off and do a couple big races. Enter 2017 as the lead driver with his own team.

Could very well be. He probably does want to see what life is like outside of a dictated NASCAR schedule. He can run some of the bigger races, maybe do the Indy 500 and an F1 race. I think he will return as well in a while.

I could see the Mark Martin epic return to glory but he has to get away for a while...get bored and get the competitive itch back.

Now both halves of the power couple have been placed in the Spring Unlimited race that neither of them qualified for based on their shitty 2014 seasons. Is Vince Helton running the show now?? Good christ man.

With less than 2 weeks remaining before the Green Flag drops in Daytona for the 500 there are some driver changes that should be noted.
Carl Edwards: Mr. EDwards has moved from his Roush 99 car to Joe Gibbs Racing and the #19 car. I believe he retained his sponsorship wit the move. I would expect him to have a very good year once he gets his bearings with the new team.
Sam Hornish Jr.: The former IRL star will be returning to Cup racing full time after spending the last few years in whatever the Busch series is being called this year. He will be driving the #9 for Richard Petty Motorsports. He is a pretty underrated driver. This isn't a great ride but he should be in the top 20 come Homestead time.
Trevor Bayne: The former Daytona 500 winner will finally be a full time Cup driver this year when he takes the wheel of the #6 car for Roush. I think he is a plate racing flash in the pan. I don't expect him to do anything other than compete with Danica to stay on the lead lap each week.
Ryan Blaney: The first of a few drivers who have famous racing fathers. Blaney will be taking over the ride Bayne had part time...the historic Wood Bro's #21. He is only taking over on a part time basis and I believe his rookie standing will be preserved for another year.
Cole Whitt: He will be in the Front Row Motorsports #35 this season after driving the #26 last year. He has partial sponsorship and probably will be happy to be in the top 35 and qualify for races. I believe its a full time gig that will be part time because he wont qualify all the time.
Who cares retirement tour car: Mike Bliss and Bobby Labonte will be driving the #32 to 40th place finishes in a few races for some reason.
Ron Hornaday Jr.: He will be making a return to Cup after torching the truck series for many years. He will be in the 30 car and will probably drive the wheels off the rickity piece of shit they give him. Not sure if this is full time or not.
Michael Annett: Moves from the #7 to the #46. He is teaming up with Allgair at HScott motorsports. They both are ok drivers and could actually move into the top 30 now that they have more money and a 2 car team.
JJ Yeley: He will be in the #23 BK Motorsports car and will battle Dancia to stay on the lead lap.
Jeb Burton: He will be in the #26 BK Motorsports car and will be kicking himself in the dick all year for accepting this ride. He is too promising of a driver to be associated with this team. It is VERY hard to take a crap ride and turn it into a full time gig with a good team. Allmendinger is probably the only guy to pull this off.
Matt Dibenedetto: I have never heard of him and he will be joining the BK team in select races in the #83 car.
Alex Bowman: He will be taking over Annett's #7 car where he will battle danica to not be 4 laps down.
Reed Sorenson: A prospect who never panned out. He will be in the #44 car and will probably pass Danica when they are both 4 laps down and he will devlep a heated fued with her and mr. sweetcheeks.
