Patrick's primary car for the Daytona 500 was destroyed Wednesday after she crashed during practice along with Michael Annett and Jeb Burton in an incident triggered by Denny Hamlin. |

Hamlin stepped up and took the blame because he knew she wouldn't and she didn't. It's practice. What in the hell are you doing closing the door on someone like that in a huge pack? Way to take no blame though....classic Danica.

I saw the video. Hamlin went from the top row down the the middle and she was in front of him in the top row and she drove right down into him to block him. She is lucky she didn't wreck half the field with that renegade driving style.

NASCAR Sprint Cup driver Kurt Busch has been suspended indefinitely, according to ESPN's Marty Smith and multiple reports. Earlier Friday it was ruled that Busch smashed his ex-girlfriend Patricia Driscoll's head against his motor home wall Sept. 26 at Dover International Speedway, according to the conclusions of a Kent County (Del.) family court commissioner who granted Driscoll's request for a protective order Monday. DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (AP) - Kyle Busch was hospitalized following a scary crash late in the Xfinity Series race on Saturday night at Daytona International Speedway.
Busch's car shot straight through the grass and slammed into an interior wall. He could not get out of the car and pointed to his right leg. He was on the ground for several minutes.
Busch was strapped to a stretcher with his right leg immobilized. His car hit a portion of the wall that did not appear to be covered in the protective SAFER barrier.
If Busch is seriously injured, he could sit out the Daytona 500 on Sunday. The race could go on without either Busch brother in the race following the suspension of older brother Kurt Busch.

Man, I've really fallen behind on my Nascar. Putting together the drivers list in the contest reminded me that Ambrose is gone, Vickers has his health stuff and Tony Stewart kinda sucks.

Gonna be a long time 'til you see the Busch brothers again. Kurt had his appeal appeal denied (Yes, that's two appeals) and there's this on Kyle:
- Kyle Busch suffered a right lower leg compound fracture and a left mid-foot fracture after a scary crash at Daytona International Speedway on Saturday, NASCAR announced. He underwent surgery and there's no timeline for his return.
Busch will miss Sunday's Daytona 500, and will be replaced by Matt Crafton.
Busch was racing in the Xfinity Series Alert Today Florida 300 and hit an interior wall hard after a multiple-car crash with less than 10 laps to go. He spent several minutes on the ground after being taken out of his car, and was in visible pain, pointing to his right leg, which was reportedly placed in an air cast.
