- Former NXT Superstar CJ Parker, now going by the name Juice Robinson, has signed a contract with New Japan Pro Wrestling. The 26-year-old star started working with the promotion back in September for their Road to Destruction tour as a trial period, and apparently things went well enough to bring him on more full-time.

That's awesome, I'm happy for him. He's a really talented dude, just sort of peaked in NXT. His gimmick would've never gotten further than it did.
Plus him breaking Owens nose in his debut probably wasn't the best for him either.

3 hours til King of Pro Wrestling. With Kevin Kelly and Matt Striker. I wonder if JR wanted to do that gig or was busy? NJPW doesn't seem to want much of anything to do with him right now even though I thought he did a nice job at Wrestle Kingdom. Maybe I'm just reading the situation wrong. Kelly might just be part of their enhanced relationship with ROH.

I think that is probably it.
Kelly is familiar with the guys and can deliver exciting and knowledgeable calls.

Watch Ricochet and Sydal vs. RPG Vice from the show earlier today.
Outstanding.
And Wrestle Kingdom 10 will have AJ Styles challenging Shinsuke Nakamura for the IC Title.

I fully approve of the cameraman's pervy zoom-ins on Maria. Takes me back to the ECW days. Though Maria is far more attractive.
I really enjoy Bennett & Taven, they team very well & are great on their own as well. I'd love for all 3 to be in NXT & quite frankly it'd be pretty crappy if the only reason Bennett wasn't given a chance was due to Maria & the past garbage with the Bellas.
Bennett probably makes good money in Japan & the indies and ROH........then he's married to Maria, so he wins at life.

He was pretty honest about everything, including his own issues, so I don't think his Maria stories were made up. Especially because he wasn't the main character in any of the stories. Let's put it this way. Everyone has a past, but it sounds like it would have been awesome to be in her past. If she's 25% the freak today, it would probably be worth it. Even if you have to set the mood with her music playing, while putting on a designer dude scarf she made you.........as she's telling you she could be the next Lucille Ball........while she's wearing a hoodie she designed......while changing the track to another song she just recorded.......... Still might be worth it.

I remember a few stories years back, there's no "might be" about it, it'd TOTALLY be worth it! Haha.

First, that standing suplex spot was f'ing sick. Especially because he didn't sell it afterwards. If he put his arms up with the "look at me" it's dead. He just went back to his business. Perfect. It sounds weird, but he wasn't as impressive in person. He did all the same stuff, but it's much better on TV. In person, the move set seems boring. Just my opinion, and I'm not shitting on him at all. I think he's awesome and can be a star if he's positioned properly.

I think it's his size that makes him not that impressive in person. He's not anecessarily imposing guy.
But on TV they make him look like a monster.

That's where the positioning and move set comes in. "Kalisto" was on the same show, and I thought he was making me pop in my pants until I realized Scarlett was next to me. He's half the size of 5'9.5" Elgin. Haha.

I absolutely love Elgin. I think scorejr gets sick of me talking about him. Especially when I kept hyping him up to win that tournament a couple of months ago.
I really like the soul searching he did and his subsequent re-dedication to his craft and his life. I love his tweets about Jax and his family.
As far as in ring he reminds me a lot of Scott Norton as I believe I've stated before. Norton was always a favorite of mine. And although I love ROH, they really do need a few more guys like Elgin. Not everybody should be flying around and going a hundred miles a minute so I like the strong style that he brings to the table. It's kinda silly when I see Moose & Dijak wrestling a match like they're luchadores. (Though they can somewhat pull it off)

And yes I do realize I sound a little like Bitter Jim when I talk about the pacing.

And yes I do realize I sound a little like Bitter Jim when I talk about the pacing. But he's right! I buried myself in some ROH last night, which is why I was commenting. They get so much love for the way they present talent. I disagree. I think they have guys that are wildly talented, but are not being shown the way. Every white guy and every black guy does the same exact thing. Except for the big guys, who should only be doing flippy moves once per match. At most. The whole show bothers me.

It's also lazy and inaccurate to say everyone works the same style.
Adam Cole/Bennett/Matt Hardy/Jay Lethal/Roderick Strong work completely different paces and styles than guys like Sydal/ACH/Young Bucks/reDRagon.
The show isn't paced out well. Which is the issue.

I never said everyone works the same style. I don't think I was being targeted, but.......I do think some guys work a style they shouldn't because of other guys on the show. That's on the company, not the performer.

That wasn't directed at you.
That's a JR complaint that's wrong.
I was happy when Adam Cole kind of called him on it.
