One thing I'll say for a lot of the fast paced stuff in ROH, PWG, indies etc.... is that many of the younger generation of fans wouldn't have it any other way. They grew up needing to be entertained every second of every day and I don't think that's gonna change anytime soon.

It won't.
Unless guys specifically go out with the intention on slowing the pace and telling an old school story. You'll get boos for a while but if it's good, people will gravitate to it.

I'd certainly like to see the pace slow down in most instances but I just wonder if you'd get the boos or if you'd get a lot of changing the channel.

I was just reading that it appears as though Kenny Omega is poised to be the leader of the Bullet Club (if there is one) and that he also appears to be the favorite to which Nakamura will drop the belt.

That'd be cool.
Though it kind of loses some luster with the top 2 guys leaving (AJ and Anderson).
Maybe they reinvent themselves again like after Devitt left.

How about Austin Aries? He's never had a tour over there from what I can tell. There could be a reason for that, but he could fit.

He'd be an excellent choice.

I'd even say Kenny Omega could be that guy. He moves up to Heavyweight like Prince Devitt and AJ did.
But they need to "steal" some other foreigners from CHAOS.
Rocky Romero and Barretta, Sydal and Richochet, etc.

Finished watching WK10 and while the action and style was just so much better than we see in the E, I also really liked the announcing since I don't really follow much of NJPW. They were informative, called the match and actually added to the match and not cracking one-liners like the E crews.

Their announcing is far superior to that of the E's main roster shows. Although maybe Smackdown will improve now with the new guy they hired. Doubtful if Lawler is staying put though.

Superstars in November 2016
Mauro Ranallo (Renamed Marcus Rano): He's been on a losing steak of late, but Neville is pound for pound the greatest fighter, err, superstar, in World Wrestling Entertainment.
Jerry Lawler: It's a shame Neville had to change his name. I guess he's an X-Pac these days.
(Ranallo pulls Lawler's head close to his, and pulls out a gun on the other side. He ends both of their misery)

Legit hoped Nakamura would've eaten the imaginary bullet & spit it back out at AJ, who would've bumped from getting hit.
That's a wrestling sentence if I've ever heard it.

So, ah, what? By the way, I can't see WWE using a name with "bullet" in it.

I'm reading that the response from the Prowrestlingtees account was said as a joke. Apparently there's no truth to it other than that.

As noted, when the rumors began circulating that New Japan Pro Wrestling stars Shinsuke Nakamura, AJ Styles, Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows were all headed to WWE, other names such as Rocky Romero and Bad Luck Fale were also reportedly in negotiations to leave NJPW for WWE.
Romero was rumored to be heading to WWE for a trainer position, however Ryan Satin of ProWrestlingSheet.com is reporting Romero has re-signed with New Japan for 2 more years.
Sources close to the situation told Satin that Romero had been working on a “handshake deal” with New Japan, but once the wrestling company caught wind of WWE’s interest, they began trying to lock him down.
The reported talent exodus from NJPW to WWE is what helped sway management into offering Romero a new deal, and while Romero was entertaining the idea of heading to WWE, he wanted to continue wrestling as opposed to take a trainer position.

JR is replacing Mauro. The guy is still possibly the best in the business. Good get.

I didn't like the way he called the WrestleKingdom show last year.
Hopefully he improves and calls the action as legit.

Tanahashi apparently hurt his shoulder yesterday according to the Wrestling Observer radio I just listened to.
That sucks majorly for New Japan. Losing Nakamura & now Tanahashi maybe.
Time to make Kenny Omega the face of the company.

Well Okada will be the face now I think.
But I agree on moving Omega up the ladder. He will be the IC champ, with Okada-Goto feuding for the heavyweight title.

Yeah Okada has been the face for a while, but damn, that's a major blow, even if Tanahashi wasn't going to feud with Okada anymore (which they didn't need to honestly).
This is def an opportunity for Omega to step up. Absolutely forgot about Goto, that should be a fine match.

He's being elevated and should deliver.
