About damn time. Naito isn’t the guy anymore and hasn’t been for a while.
Tanahashi retiring at Wrestle Kingdom 20. Next year will be his final year before calling it a career. Talk about a guy who gave it all to wrestling (especially his knees). Now he can focus on being president.
The Bucks are returning at Wrestle Dynasty.

Well wishes to El Phantasmo, who is taking an indefinite leave from wrestling for a while, as doctors found a small cancerous tumor.
One of the best and consistent workers NJPW has on the roster. Hoping for the best for ELP.

Omega cut a return promo saying he’ll return to the ring representing AEW also at Wrestle Dynasty, presumably Gabe Kidd, as they apparently had a backstage brawl
Despy is next for Douki and the Jr Title after a successful defense over Master Wato
SANADA cost Taichi the Global title and joined Bullet Club War Dogs
Henare & Great O Khan won the Tag Titles from TMDK

Well, you can’t say they aren’t trying to go with youth. Many say this card is cold, but if you want to build to the future, you have to start somewhere. I find it refreshing Naito, Okada, Tanahashi aren’t the guys this year. Umino, Tsuji, Oiewa, even Narita (despite being trapped in HOT purgatory) are your future.

Wrestle Dynasty will have an International Womens Cup 4 way on the show January 5th.
4 way qualifiers from AEW, STARDOM, CMLL & ROH will take place in the next month and all four winners advance to Wrestle Dynasty.
Very cool to incorporate female talent from all over.
I assume this is what the CMLL talent will start doing when they pop up again this/next week on AEW TV. Build to that show a bit
