On this week's episode of WWE Smackdown, the first vignette introducing former WWE NXT Tag Team champions The Ascension, Konnor and Viktor, will air.
Hoping they do well, with the Wyatt's over, they need a new dominating heel team.

Joey Ryan @joeyryanonline · 3h3 hours ago What a weird state the industry is in right now when my friends are turning down WWE offers to stay independent.
Joey Ryan @joeyryanonline · 2h2 hours ago It's not my place to say who but it's also not terribly difficult to figure out who they would have interest in.
Uhaa Nation has been rumored to be in WWE talks recently. He's either talking about him, or my guess is The Bucks or Adam Cole BAYBAY.

Everything ok with Dusty? Seems a lot smaller than I recall.

Is Flair on the gas again? He is making dusty look small because he is as big as the game in that pic.

He claims to have only used roids twice in his life, and he's one of the guys I kind of believe. I hope nothing is wrong with Dusty, but he's been shrinking the last couple years. It could just be a healthier lifestyle.

Just wow.
- On Monday night, NXT Women’s Champion Charlotte made her Raw debut, and lost quickly to Natalya. This confused many as the match was supposed to be an NXT showcase match, to hype tonight’s NXT special.
During yesterday’s NXT Conference call, Triple H spoke about the match. He said that there were time constraints as segments went long, so the ladies segment lost time. He noted that he would have loved to showcase them with the time that they got in NXT but that they didn’t have that chance. Triple H added that when Charlotte comes up to the main roster that she will be presented differently and that the hope was people would forget about the match.
Word is that the match changed a few times during the day, going from a singles match to a tag team match and then back to the singles match. Vince McMahon made the call to have Charlotte lose the match. Natalya reportedly offered to do the honors for Charlotte, as she felt that it was the right thing to do. Vince ultimately decided against Natalya’s idea, and that’s how Charlotte lost her debut match.

I saw this earlier. "This will be forgotten" is the laziest excuse I've ever heard.

I'm assuming that's their excuse for why they're doing Swagger/Rusev again? We're just suppose to forget it happened multiple times a few months ago.
It's sad that out of a 3 hour program with about, what was the breakdown, 40 or so minutes of actual wrestling, that it's the ladies, who only get a minute or 2 to begin with, that has to get the axe. Can't ever say anything bad about Nattie though, even she wanted to put her over.
Fuckin Vince.

I haven't finished Raw yet, but here's what I have so far: 4:20 Ziggler/Rollins 2:55 Day/Dusts 2:28 Charlotte/Nattie 2:09 Harper/Rowan 4:16 6 Man Tag - Match still in progress So at that point, midway thru the 6 man tag, there had been 16 minutes and 8 seconds of televised rasslin'.

We noted over the last few days that WWE’s new tour buses have The Undertaker’s image on them promoting WrestleMania 31. There have been a lot of conflicting reports. There were supposedly plans in November for The Undertaker to wrestle Sting. However, according to the latest Wrestling Observer report, the booking plan as of now is for The Undertaker to wrestle Bray Wyatt, not Sting or Brock Lesnar, at WrestleMania 31. That all depends on whether or not The Undertaker has given the company the “ok” on whether he’s good to wrestle.
Even if he does not wrestle, the idea is to still use him on the show in some form since he’s still under contract with a seven figure downside guarantee so they would want to use him to justify his contract. He could also go into the WWE Hall of Fame if he decides that his wrestling career is over. However, the talk for the last few years was that he would retire at Cowboys Stadium in Dallas at WrestleMania 32. That show is expected to set an all-time attendance record.
News from WrestlingObserver.com was used in this post.

Now that the streak is over, he has nothing left to wrestle for, which kinda pains me to say since he was one of my all time favorites. That being said, if he does face Wyatt, he needs to put Wyatt over. If WM32 would be his final year, then send him off on a victory. A win over Wyatt, especially if it isn't his last year in the ring, would do absolutely nothing for him.
Wyatt vs Taker from a storyline standpoint would be pretty great though. I'd want more than 4 weeks worth of build though.

hmmm...You could have Wyatt mess with Kane for a few months and just torture the hell out of him. Then you just play taker's music and drop the lights for a month. Do some promo's leading up to Mania and you have an excellent story line and match. Bray wins and owns the dark side of the E.

I might be alone here, but this is an "only we can do that to our pledges" deal for me. I don't like the current state of the company, but I don't need it being taken over by an outside interest that's more corporate.
Lemelson Shrugs As WWE Preens
Dec 12 2014 | 11:32am
World Wrestling Entertainment is pretty pleased with its social-media footprint, but hedge-fund manager Emmanuel Lemelson couldn’t care less.
The WWE this week touted its internet popularity at UBS’ media conference, citing billions of YouTube views and hundreds of millions of followers on various social-media platforms. But as far that Lemelson Capital Management chief is concerned, those efforts are a distraction for a company that he thinks should consider itself a content producer.
Lemelson, which made a killing shorting WWE earlier this year, is now long the stock—and pushing for changes. The hedge fund wants the wrestling giant to put it up for sale, or at least replace CEO Vince McMahon.
“He really needs a professional CEO,” Lemelson said last month.

I've learned through experience in life that the grass is not always greener and sometimes the devil you're with is better than the devil you think you want. I don't want any CEO corporate outsider because it truly will be the beginning of the end.

Could the corporate CEO outsider really kill professional wrestling any more than the corporate CEO insider already has? I don't think so.
This isn't professional wrestling and hasn't been in a while.

I'm still pissed at all the bullshit Vince was spewing on Austin's podcast. I'm not sure now is the best time for me to comment. I'm on the verge of having a fit.

This isn't professional wrestling and hasn't been in a while. It wouldn't kill pro wrestling. I thought about that when I posted earlier and didn't mean to imply it. I'd be uncomfortable with Vince being taken over. I'm definitely looking at it from a non-business standpoint.

How can Vince talk to Austin about how it was his absolute dream to compete in the ring......and then give "Sports Enterfuckingtainers" 2 to 3 minutes a show to grab the flipping brass ring? Doesn't he think it's their damn dream too to compete in the ring? ? I'm gonna be wrapping up that Raw tonight and it's already very clear to me that it's gonna be less than 30 minutes of televised wrestling. SAY THE WORD, VINCE!!!!!!!!! "WRESTLING"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Fucker. Sorry about the expletives. Happy Holidays.

I was responding more to Ryan.
Vince has created a heck of a 4th rate entertainment conglomerate. It would be a shame to see him forced out of it. He should own it forever.

I would also venture to say that people tune out after constantly being fed 2-3 minute matches week in and week out. It's the EXACT REASON I've been scouting out ROH, and other feds. Sorry about the caps. I'm not yelling at you. FUCK YOU VINCE!!!!

You can absolutely have both entrances and a match in a 10-12 minute slot. I hate their production with the chopped entrances and 2 minutes of the match. Treat the divas match like that....not the actual good matches.

3-5 minute matches happen everywhere. The difference is the preponderance of them in WWE versus ROH, NJPW, heck even Lucha Underground.
