UPDATE x2: Here are more details on the ROH TV deal, according to Pwinsider.com…
* ROH will stay in syndication through Sinclair Broadcasting. The series on Destination America will be the same series that is owned and distributed by Sinclair Broadcasting. Episodes will debut over the weekend on the Sinclair stations and then air on Wednesday nights on Destination American.
* The relationship between Ring of Honor and Destination America relationship is something that has reportedly been built over the last several months and is independent of whatever is going on between the Network and TNA.
* Destination America wants pro wrestling content on their Network and they want to make the cable outlet a “destination” for that.
* ROH will be seen weekly through at least the end of the year, but possibly longer.

Court Bauer says this was not something that was in the works for months and the deal was signed this morning.

Also in ROH news, yesterday Adam Cole posted a pic of prototypes for ROH action figures featuring Cole, both Briscoes & Kevin Steen (odd choice, but I get it). Also The Bucks posted a pic of a signed contract saying they'll get their own action figures as well soon.
Glad to see ROH expanding. Good news all around for them.

I'm still so damn fascinated over today's news. I can't wait til some weeks, months go by so that we hear more of the story. I wonder who's calling the shots at DA. Somebody there is very Vince McMahon-ish.

I just meant as far as cutthroat, ruthless, kinda cold. I really think this whole deal went down 100% behind TNA's back, which is really a thing considering the love fest between TNA & DA just 6 months ago.

I can't wait 'til ROH gets a second hour. There's a lot to be said for leave 'em wanting more like they currently do with just one hour but they have so much actual wrestling that you can go like a month before you see your favorite wrestler again.

Once it gets to original programming I agree.
But maybe this becomes great for TNA and they succeed as well.

To me the deal is just DA pushing out TNA and getting the new product primed for TNA's spot. And yeah KS I think they get 2 hours. Or, in the what if world, what if GFW gets TNA's spot in the future. They obviously want wrestling on their network because atm they have 2. Its interesting.

I'd love it if they could both succeed but there's something about TNA that just seems to have too much stank on it. I mean they just did there 30th reboot, and this one was probably more significant than any of their other ones, and yet here we are.

I think they should just go all in and get them all: Lucha, NJPW, and all those other 30 indy's that you always tell me about. The cross promotional stuff that they could do would be out of this world.

So atm the #2 and #3 company are on the same channel. One leading the other in. Do you think ROH upps their game and tries to put on amazing shows to outshine TNA? Then TNA upps theirs and it creates a minor wrestling show war for a couple months?

And I meant America or NJPW would be #2. Lucha Underground is #4.

I just mean do they make it obvious they're trying to out shine TNA. I don't think TNA officials are happy right now so they might take a shot at ROH. Would be a dumb move though.

I think what TNA really needs to do is change it's thinking/stance as far as alliances. Isn't their only alliance with AAA or something like that? Meanwhile, ROH is sharing it's talent all over the place, same with Lucha to an extent, and obviously NJPW, and of course Global Force has alliances with 187 feds in 206 different countries.
