I used to do every ppv as well. It was all can't miss. Now I've ordered two PPV'S plus the one last night. The Jones vs DC one which pretty much sucked and then the May ppv with two title fights and Cowboy Cerrone on it as well. I won't be buying any PPV'S in the near future either. Missing PPV'S was a sin for me. Now missing even random fight night cards that are free isnt a big deal. I remember when I first became a fan they would have their random ppv cards from overseas and I'd rush up to BW's after work on a Saturday to go catch the fights. Yeah, I'm not sure the next PPV that I will order. Usually the end of year/new year PPV is good. I heard a rumor of the October card possibly being stacked, with DC/Gus, Cain returning, and another big name.

Just announced coaches for the next TUF: Connor/Faber. This makes what happened at the weigh-ins Friday look even more staged. UFC is turning into the WWE more and more.

It builds the show I guess, but they aren't going to fight after the season, so it's really all they can work off of in terms of bad blood. At least it won't be as bad as Tito/Shamrock's season was. Fighters were great that year, but even then at TUF 3, Shamrock was so old at the time, you just knew Tito would destroy him again (pretty much the last time Tito destroyed anyone).
Wonderboy Thompson had a hell of a highlight reel finish though. Fantastic weekend of fights.

Meanwhile steroids bust is 1 year ban. Makes sense......
I mean I know it's his 3rd time getting busted for weed in his system, but fuck man.
Oh & he got busted for weed in his system against Carlos Condit.....which he lost. And got busted this last time against Anderson Silva................which he lost, well he did lose, but Silva got popped for steroids so it was a NC. Look forward for Silva being back from that suspension soon though!!!! Ugh....
Performance enhancing drug though?

Probably the biggest card of the year takes place tonight. Really would love to see Aldo beat the shit out of Connor tonight. I think Connor is mostly talk. Haven't seen much ground game or wrestling from him. I think Mendes would of beat him with more time to train. Chad was beating him everywhere for the most part. Not a big fan of either Weidman or Rockhold. Should be a decent fight.

Aldo will be tough to beat. I think he wins.
Rockhold-Weidman goes either way. I'll say Rockhold.

The only thing I know about these two is that there can be only one Bobby Fish. So I'm going Aldo.

Mendes was having his way with Connor before he gassed in their fight. While I would love to see Connor win, I don't see it happening.
McGreggor as champ would be better for the UFC as a whole, because he's so marketable, stays healthy, wants to fight more than once a year & it opens up so many new matchups. Aldo constantly gets hurt, has essentially ran through his division before doing so & isn't all that marketable.
I want Connor, but I'm picking Aldo. Also picking Weidman.

Connor has had injury problems in the past as well. Not as often as Aldo, but still has had injuries. With a win, I would love to see Aldo move up to 155. I know Connor has talked about moving up to 155 to challenge the champ there, and have 2 belts at once.

Barring a lucky shot, Yoel Romero, if he does get the next shot at Weidman or Luke, will get his ass handed to him. Dude gassed half way through the 2nd round, but I think he won the 1st round 10-8, so it didn't matter that Souza won the last 2 rounds.

Are you kidding me? Herb Dean is usually a fantastic referee, but damn, Rockhold was on top of a bloodied Weidman, just destroying him for about 45 seconds, full mount, no answers from Weidman & Herb Dean just stood there, almost waiting for the bell.
Even Rogan asked what it's going to take to stop the fight?
I get it you don't want championship fights to end in controversy, but shit.

Chuck Liddell screaming from cageside that Weidman was holding on to the fence.
You know Chuck wants to get back in there so badly . I miss seeing him fight (minus the last 2-3 years where he got knocked out all the time).

Sadly this will be the last ppv for awhile that I buy. The next two ppvs look really bad. I love the Condit/Lawler fight but that's all that fight card has.
Just stream baby

I don't think Punk will ever fight in the UFC. It was a joke when he signed, and it's only gotten worse since then. He should of never left the WWE. Now he needs to crawl back to HHH and kiss his ass.

He'll never go back to WWE. The way they handled that situation, that's not like Austin just walking out because of creative differences & coming back a year later. They fired him on his wedding day. He won't forget that.
In terms of the UFC, it sucks, because I want to see him fight. Good or bad, it's good exposure for the UFC, something they need, as fighters are getting popped for PEDs or are being just jackasses with the law. I'm sure if it was up to Punk he would've wanted to fight on the UFC 200 show, but he wants to get this fixed. Can't blame him for that.
He's been putting in the time at Roufusport, 4-6 months, I think he will fight, I think he'll lose, but I think he'll at least have 1 fight.

He's sitting pretty comfortably with cash I'm sure. If UFC doesn't work out, he has comics & other ventures he could pursue.
If he ever does come back to wrestling, I see it being for places like PWG & ROH. Places he doesn't have bad blood or holds grudges with. I'm sure Super Dragon or Gabe would love to have him.

I think Punk returns to WWE and headlines Mania in 2018. He will holdout for a crazy financial deal to justify it.
