Gabrant is absolutely destroying Dominick Cruz. Knocked him down with punches 5 times. Heading into the 5th & final round. Cruz has struggled mightily in this fight.
Cody even pop & locked while mocking Cruz at one point. This is nuts.

And NEEWWWWW! Redemption for Team Alpha Male. After Cruz beat Urijah twice, Benavidez & Dillashaw, they finally got a guy from their camp to defeat him. Fully expect a rematch, they could build this well. Good for Cody.

Really like Amanda Nunes, but want Ronda to win this. Even though I hate Ronda's coach, Edmund, he's arguably the biggest douchebag in MMA. Wish she'd train with someone else. Even Ronda's mom hates him.

Hahaha the link I was watching froze right after Nunez hit 2 punches. Had to refresh everything & it was already over. Hilarious.
Ronda is done for sure. We'll see her at Mania for sure. She can beat up Steph.
She should stick to making movies from here on out. Hopefully she handles this ok, she didn't handle the Holm loss well at all.

Only problem is, there's no woman on the roster who is even close to Ronda's popularity. Nunes is a beast, obviously, but I don't see any potential rivalries.
Then there's De Randamie vs Holm for a different title that the UFC specifically made for Cyborg, but she went & got popped for a drug test. Makes the UFC look incredibly dumb.
Certainly an end of an era for women's MMA.

It has dawned on me that I care very little about UFC/MMA.
The only times I've ever really watched even a bit of it were for a couple of Brock fights, a couple of Jon Jones fights and a couple of Frankie Edgar fights.
I just don't care who can beat up who........which is probably strange since I love pro wrestling.

Agree, Ronda is done. Going into the fight, I had her getting knocked out. The way she had been acting all week didn't seem good to me, plus I knew she can't take a punch. Not sure why she wanted to stand and bang. She has no striking skills, and can't take a shot. Then she acts like a bitch and skips the media yet again after the fight. Dana really needs to stop kissing her ass. He let her skip all the media shit this week, but then pulls Conor from a fight that was months away for skipping a presser. I'm guessing that will bite him in the ass eventually. I really wished I pulled the trigger on Nunes plus 135, knew it was easy money. Looks like Ronda was a one trick pony. Really not to many MMA skills, just was able to take a few people down and twist their arms. At least the UFC was able to cash in on her brief run.

Exactly. However I really wish she would've went to a different camp. She learned absolutely nothing from the Holm loss. I have no idea why she felt so damn compelled to stick with the one camp she's always trained at. You need to change up your strategy & work on new stuff at a major camp. But that's not happening any longer.
She legit seemed like a deer in headlights last night. Really sad. Like a Create-A-Fighter without adding attributes yet.
If/when she shows up in the WWE, you have to think people will see this as a giant step back. But I don't see her coming in & murdering people like Brock did.

Pretty surprised Dana & the UFC would allow this. Connor has I think 2 or 3 fights left on his current contract. I know the guy is all about money, but how about you defend your motherfucking title instead of fighting that piece of shit Mayweather?
UFC should strip Connor of both titles. Then again UFC has become such a joke with how many "interim" titles they make up just to sell PPVs anyway.
Whole thing is a freak show that will make millions upon millions. If Connor loses, he comes back to the UFC, tail between his legs. He gains nothing from this aside from an ass load of cash, which, I guess I don't blame him on that aspect, but a boxing match, c'mon, you're fucked. I hate Mayweather with a passion, but a boxing match goes to Floyd easily. Just like if this was MMA, Floyd would get murdered.
Legit hope we get this.....

UFC can't really afford to piss Connor off right now. He is easily their top PPV draw and there isn't a close second (though the return of GSP might change that).
And maybe this whole thing gets blown up and never happens.

So what happens here? Woman beater & Irish get paid a ridiculous amount of money. Irish goes back to MMA after getting his ass handed to him & we act like this never happened? Definitely not worth paying whatever the price is going to be.
Wouldn't be surprised if we have a Dusty finish like Peeps said to draw this shit show out. Or you have Conor run like a bitch & make it as boring as possible to show people how boring boxing (and Mayweather) is.
I just can't wait until Conor goes back to doing his fucking job, that being a MMA fighter. Guys are fighting for nothing in the UFC for a title that pretty much is vacant.

Floyd is a complete joke on the microphone too. I've heard more believable promos by the worst talkers in WWE.

The more I hear Floyd talk, the more I think he doesn't want to fight. The way Dana bows to Conor and sucks his dick is embarrassing, especially for someone who runs the company. I'm glad some of their fighters are jumping to Belator, it's ridiculous how he does whatever the Irish fuck wants. Conor isn't even the best boxer in the UFC. I would take the Diaz brothers and Anderson before him.
