BleacherReport just wants a click bait title. It wasn't an embarrassment. He fought, tried his best & got beat badly, but it certainly wasn't an embarrassment.
Embarrassment is James Toney fighting Randy Couture. Embarrassment was Punk's first fight when he didn't get one punch off.

On one hand, I could understand him being pissed if Punk shut him out. He was pretty much anti-anyone WWE after getting fucked over. I'm sure Punk was paranoid that everyone who still worked for the enemy had an agenda.
That said, just say his fucking name, don't take the high school girl route & use quotes to describe him. Him tweeting Hunter & Vince is just lame though.
Next thing you know Graves will pin a music lyric to the top of his Twitter.

DC called Brock in the cage, Brock shoved him really hard, took the mic and called Ngannou and Miocic both pieces of shit and said he's coming for DC's title.
DC told him to get out of his cage he's got pics to take. Crowd loved DC. Whole thing was pretty hokey, but it's the most I've seen Brock act in years.
Brock did nothing to deserve this shot. Granted the co main event could literally have been one of the most boring UFC fights ever with Ngannou and Lewis, but seriously, Brock fought Mark Hunt last and got popped for roofs after.

3 of Khabib's guys were arrested and jailed.
That was a side show at the end. Khabib fucked up royally. That said, I'll never feel bad for Connor, he's a thug. He fucking threw a dolly threw a bus and ran for his life.
I don't want a rematch though. Khabib beat him in convincing fashion. Have Ferguson vs Connor next.

Agree, no reason for a rematch. Connor sucks at wrestling, and would get the shit beat out of him again. That's been his weakness his whole career. No wrestling, and no ground game. That's how Diaz was able to beat him on such a short notice. Honestly, if the UFC fired Paul Daley for his cheap shot on Josh Koscheck, Khabib should be fired as well. He won't because Dana is into the sideshow shit now, even though he will deny it. The UFC turned to this shit with the Punk signing, and it's only gotten worse.

You guys are crazy. Dana White is the Vince McMahon of today. It's both. These guys have worked themselves into a shoot and despite denials (OMG, McGregor got arrested) UFC is fanning the flames. HBK v Bret.
So the rematch wouldn't be a technical classic? Oh no! It's about money. Grandmas are talking about UFC in church today. These guys facing each other again would lead to house parties and bars filled with people that normally wouldn't give two seconds to UFC.

Every major name it seems has either gotten popped for roids, has drug problems, flees the scene of a crime, throws a dolly at a bus, etc. Those who don't are sadly not marketable to Dana and the UFC. So guys like Tony Ferguson get fucked over. Daniel Cormier only gets fights against said assholes in order for Dana and the UFC to give a shit. Sad what it's become. People feed into it, so why stop though. Also zero people are taking about how Conor threw a punch at Khabib's guy who was climbing over out of the cage first. Then the other Khabib dudes jumped in and started swinging. UFC cameras only cut back when Conor was getting beat up. |
