Backstage News on Why WWE is Using Dr. Chris Amann to Combat CM Punk’s Medical Allegations

As we previously reported, WWE’s Dr. Chris Amann is filing a $1 million lawsuit against CM Punk for alleging Amann misdiagnosed a lump on his back which turned out to be a staph infection.
Furthermore, WWE sent out a statement supporting Amann’s defamation lawsuit, and the company included video footage which served to dispute Punk’s claims.
Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer has posted the following on the F4WOnline.com message board regarding WWE’s decision to fire back at CM Punk:
There’s a reason this all came out.
WWE lost round one to a guy they now believe beat them at their own game and they can’t say that so this is what they are doing.
When they settled, they thought he had them dead to rights. Now they think he outworked them and they don’t take that as well.
Thoughts about who wins the court case is missing the entire point. It’s never going to trial. It’s about revenge for them being worked into caving early. At least that’s their version. They have to use the doctor because they can’t sue.
But they absolutely believe they are in the right.

The Adam Rose/ Long Island Iced Z twitter shots are awesome. Ryder was making fun of Rose having to be one of the Druids last night and Rose told him to enjoy catering. I would watch that match and not hate it if it were on tonight.

Agreed. They're twitter exchanges have been great. Sadly if they have a match it'll be on Superstars or Main Event.
Also in regards to the team going into the HOF, I thought they were great before WWF. Pretty surprising a team like that gets in the HOF before a team like Demolition, who held the tag titles multiple times & one reign a full year.
Hope Jameson inducts them.

Also the one name I'm surprised isn't in yet is Rick Martel. Dude was a solid wrestler, multiple time tag champ, had success in WCW briefly in his run. Took what could be thought of as a silly gimmick & made it awesome.
Way overdue.

So the projected card so far looks like this: Cena/Rusev Star Dust/Gold Dust Lesner/Roman HHH/Sting Taker/Wyatt Rollins/Orton Still lots of talent looking for matches I think there's also the Battle Royal. Probably some sort of Tag Team deal with either a rematch, or maybe a couple of other teams in the mix too with Cesaro/Kidd and the Usos. Miz/Mizdow is another. And then probably Ambrose/BNB. Though I did see that at some house shows, they're doing 3-ways with Ziggler. |

- As we previously reported, WWE World Heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar was backstage at Monday's Raw but did not appear despite being advertised due to an incident which took place backstage.
A story which is making the rounds is Lesnar was notably angry about something with a source claiming he walked out of event before it ended. In addition, PWInsider is reporting that while nobody is elaborating what went down Lesnar appears to be unhappy with his business relationship with WWE at the moment rather than a creative issue.
Vince McMahon acknowledged the issue during a Smackdown production meeting today noting that Lesnar has returned home to Minnesota.
Lesnar's next scheduled appearance will be on the March 9, edition of Raw from Pittsburgh, PA.

7 women that can have really good matches. Bayley can actually appeal to the little girls in the crowd. She has that look to her and she can work. Charlotte can be a bad ass heel along with Sasha Banks. Nattie wants to wrestle and she would shine with these women. I don't need my women wrestlers to be gorgeous but can't act or wrestle their way out of a paper bag.
I just spent 5 mins bitching about the state of women's wrestling and that's about 4 mins longer than your average divas match on Raw. Oh look a distraction roll up for the win.

It's honestly not just the wrestling aspect fans should have problems with. They don't have storylines & the ones they have are based off a "reality" show that was filmed what, 6-7 months ago?
Hippie & Tits aren't good actresses (their feud was the definition of terrible acting), they're not great talkers & their matches to me are boring. Still waiting on why Hippie turned heel after a month prior Tits said she wished she was never born, now Hippie is her lackey.
-Alicia Fox was crazy & the fans loved it, then they stopped using her. Hell, they use her as a face & heel now with no explanation.
-Summer & Layla were making Fandango miserable (entertaining? No, but they were being used), now Layla left for I think cosmetic surgery & Summer isn't doing anything.
-Rosa has been hired nearly 9 years & hasn't done a thing noteworthy. That's incredible.
-Cameron is going on her 4th year with the company & the most noteworthy thing she's done is try to pin Naomi while she was on her stomach.
Naomi & Nattie have their feud as the wives. Emma is still being punished. AJ is "hurt". That leaves Paige, that's it!

I've struggled with that for as long as you have but reading what you wrote, I believe you answered the question with your first sentence: Hippie & Tits aren't good actresses (their feud was the definition of terrible acting), they're not great talkers & their matches to me are boring.As far as some of the others, I like Alicia. I don't find her to be terrible in the ring. I like how stiff she works in the ring. (And how stiff she makes me) I think it's possible for Summer to be ok in the ring, or at least a valet type if nothing else. |

I think back to Laycool, they were two bitchy characters, but were annoying in a sense that it was their job to be as irritating as possible, therefore they did it well. Not to mention it was around the time Layla was having her best matches ever (don't know what happened now) & McCool was fantastic. So it all just clicked. I just don't get that with the Bellas. They're the bitchy characters, but do nothing to add to why fans should care about them.
That said it doesn't fall entirely on them. When you're told to go out there & you get 2 minutes (or in many cases less than that) you can't really tell a story.

According to The Wrestling Observer, Brock Lesnar was backstage at Raw in Nashville this week when the show started, but left before the show was over after a dispute with WWE officials.
Specifically, Lesnar was in a meeting with Vince McMahon about contract renegotiations, and he became upset during the meeting which is why he decided to leave.
There is speculation that terms of Lesnar’s new WWE contract included him being able to fight for UFC while under contract with WWE, however it’s being said that aspect of his deal was not the source of Lesnar’s unhappiness. Lesnar’s issues Monday night specifically had to do with the new deal offered by WWE, and it had nothing to do with UFC or current or future WWE creative plans.
As of today, the issue between Lesnar and WWE has not been resolved, but it could get resolved any day now. Lesnar will fulfill the rest of the dates on his WWE deal, which is why the WrestleMania main event is not in jeopardy, as missing his dates could result in breach of contract.
Brock Lesnar’s remaining WWE dates include the March 9th Raw in Pittsburgh, the March 23rd Raw in Los Angeles, WrestleMania 31 and then Raw the day after WrestleMania.

How amazing would it be if Lesnar won at Mania? Everyone is expecting his opponent to win, just like last year, then they have Brock win. Only problem is you have this monster champion, it only seems logical to have him lose at the biggest show of the year. Having him lose at Extreme Rules or MITB doesn't have the same feel.
Still want Mania to end with the biggest cash in in the history of WWE. Rollins could boast about it his entire reign (preferably with Heyman). Reigns could chase the title. Throw Bryan in there. Orton, who should beat him at Mania, could chase the title. If they're going to have Cena for some reason possibly be US champ, then have Rollins be the face for a while. Then you have Reigns win at Summerslam or something.
Hell have it be like when JBL was champ, he beat Eddie, Booker T & Taker over the course of the year, then have a fatal 4 way, have the title change then. Granted JBL won his fatal 4 way, but you get the point. Fantasy booking over for now.
