As long as I don't have to see Sheamus & Truth wrestle twice, I'm perfectly fine with this. Barrett gains the most out of this. I could see Sheamus & Ziggler costing one another their matches to continue their feud. Barrett vs Stardust would be cool for heel/heel. Neville vs Ambrose would be insane, fingers crossed. Not getting my hopes up though. Ambrose getting DQ'd seems more realistic.

I think it will be Neville and Barrett in the finals with Wade being the new King.

Neville winning is the only person it really helps.
Barrett is/was already over. Sheamus as well for as stupid as he looks.

WWE pulled Daniel Bryan from last night’s Raw and this week’s Smackdown tapings. As of last night, however, Bryan had still been listed for all upcoming live events including this weekend’s events in New York and Canada.
WWE has now pulled Daniel Bryan from any and all events he had previously been advertised for, but the company has yet to make an official announcement regarding a timeframe for his return.
As we noted today, the rumor is WWE expects Bryan to be out for a month to two months, but that has not officially been announced by WWE.

Dude next to me today asked Hippie how Bryan's neck was & if it's going to keep him out for much longer, she said it's a concussion. Which is something I haven't heard before actually. Don't know why she'd make it up, so I assume it's legit seeing as it came from the Mrs.

Dude next to me today asked Hippie how Bryan's neck was & if it's going to keep him out for much longer, she said it's a concussion. Which is something I haven't heard before actually. Don't know why she'd make it up, so I assume it's legit seeing as it came from the Mrs. This was from the 17th: (And then 2 days later WWE denied it but I never heard a word after that) News broke this week that WWE Intercontinental Champion Daniel Bryan was being sent home from the current European tour as a precautionary measure due to injury, which immediately had people thinking that he was once again having issues with his neck. However, it’s been reported that Bryan’s neck isn’t the issue. Bryan Alvarez of F4WOnline reported on Wrestling Observer Live that Daniel Bryan suffered a concussion in a match with Sheamus during the March 31 SmackDown taping. In the match, Bryan was busted open, and Sheamus was subsequently criticized for being careless in the ring, which Sheamus laughed about later on Twitter. The concussion that Bryan suffered on March 31 ultimately led to WWE taking him off of this week’s European tour, and his status for the Extreme Rules pay-per-view on April 26 is unknown. “Daniel Bryan has been removed from the WWE European tour, which, of course, has a lot of people concerned [about] what’s going on with him, is it his neck, is it his elbow. I’ve been told that the situation with Daniel Bryan is that he suffered a concussion. I don’t know what the status of his neck is or his elbow, that may still be a problem, but the big issue on the tour was a concussion that he suffered and it was in fact, for those of you who saw the SmackDown show where Sheamus came out and gave him a beating, we actually talked about this on the program, there had been some heat on Sheamus for, I don’t know if being careless is the best word, but he did give Daniel Bryan a beating and apparently Daniel Bryan suffered a concussion in that beating, so I guess that’s the situation. “I presume there has to be a little more to the story because if Daniel Bryan got a concussion he shouldn’t have being doing anything on the shows and they did put him in some tag team matches, some six-man matches, he was in the ring, so I don’t know if he maybe got cleared, maybe after suffering the concussion they cleared him, but he was still suffering symptoms. I don’t know exactly what the story was, but all of the issues did stem from that situation there with Sheamus and Sheamus’ return so far [has been] one problem after another.”

Absolutely wouldn't be surprised if it was due to Sheamus, but still, Bryan had been working hurt for a while before that wasn't he?
Oh and also, Sheamus looks just as ridiculous as you'd think up close with those weird beard beads he has now. Just weird.

According to last night’s edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, the original plan in WWE was to feature the 2015 King of the Ring as a several week tournament, but for whatever reason WWE decided to complete it in 2 nights.

They have enough guys, they could've & honestly should've, done qualifying matches. That was always my favorite part of the tournament.
Barrett loses a pre-show match on Sunday & is KOTR by Tuesday. Glad he won though. He gets more from that than Neville.

I would've promoted and milked the shit out of this King of the Ring. I mean first of all it should be a PPV in and of itself. But aside from that, hell, I might've even started with a field of 32 and ran it on Raw and Smackdown from May thru June. Maybe have the Finals on the PPV before Summerfest. And then at Summerfest the King could take on the champ for the strap.

Dammit Kays....if you started with a field of 32 you would end up with the fucking bull in a match.

Roman Reigns Randy Orton Rusev Dolph Ziggler Dean Ambrose Cesaro King Barrett Bray Wyatt Ryback Luke Harper
Sheamus Big Show Neville Big E Stardust Damien Sandow Erick Rowan Mark Henry Goldust Jack Swagger
Kane Tyson Kidd The Miz Kofi Kingston Jimmy Uso Kalisto R-Truth Adam Rose Bo Dallas Curtis Axel Fandango Titus O'Neil
So that's 32.
Plus there's John Cena and Daniel Bryan who I guess could be in it since it's for the big strap. Brock's out there. Maybe another NXT name or two.
And there's still a few I didn't list.

I mean they just announced this what, like two days ago? Didn't they announce it at the PPV? And now two days later they already have a King of the Ring? Like for realz? Really? They just fuck up everything. Vince is probably the one that placed Justin Verlander in those naked Kate Upton pics. Just to fuck it up.
They also could've incorporated NXT into this. I'm sure they have a PPV coming up. One of the matches could've been for the 32nd and final spot. Hell, they could've even had their own little King of the Ring to determine who goes to the big boy KOTR.
It also would've been a nice way to debut Samoa Joe. Whether it be in NXT or directly onto the main roster.
Just string the whole thing across Raw's and Smackdowns and the couple of PPV's coming up. Then you wrap it up and give the KOTR a full buildup for the month or so before Summerslam.
Not to mention the plethora of organic feuds that could ensue due to the KOTR matches.

Kevin Eck 54 minutes ago Former WWE Creative Writer Exposes the Truth About Legitimacy of WWE App Voting
One of the questions I've been asked several times over the years is if the WWE app voting is legitimate or if the outcomes of the voting are as predetermined as the matches.
For example, did the WWE Universe really get to pick the Payback main event on Raw this past Monday? Of the three options -- Seth Rollins vs. Randy Orton, Seth Rollins vs. Roman Reigns and a Triple Threat -- it was obvious that WWE wanted the Triple Threat to win the voting, as evidenced by the promotional video that had leaked days earlier that strongly suggested the main event would be a Triple Threat.
So what would have happened if one of the singles matches had won the voting? Would WWE have lied about the voting results and gone with the Triple Threat or would they have changed the planned main event for Payback?
I don't work for WWE anymore, so I can't answer that with absolute certainty. All I can comment on is what I witnessed during my three years on the WWE creative team from 2011 to 2014.
In this unprecedented peak behind the curtain, I will now reveal the shocking truth about the fan voting.
It was all completely legitimate.
I know many will be skeptical, but it's the truth. I can tell you that there were times when I and other members of the creative team suggested to Vince McMahon that we work the results to get the desired outcome, but he always refused to "compromise the integrity of the voting."
I felt like we were working ourselves, especially since the majority of people didn't believe the voting was legit anyway.
On certain occasions when fans were asked to choose the stipulation for a match that was taking place on that night's show, we'd select options that would make it easier for the talent and producers to put the match together. For example, we'd ask fans to pick between a Street Fight, a No Holds Barred Match and a No Disqualification Match. What's the difference between the three, you ask? Exactly.
The "shoot" voting definitely made our jobs as writers harder at times. In particular, the Slammy Awards, which were determined by voting that closed just moments before the winner was announced, were a nightmare.
We had to gather all of the candidates for a specific award into Gorilla (the position backstage where the talent stands just before they make their entrance) so that they could be ready to go out and accept the award if they won. It made for some nerve-wracking moments when you were running around backstage trying to locate talent and had just a few minutes to find them and get them to Gorilla.
One of my worst experiences in WWE involved a fan voting segment that I was assigned to write. It occurred during the August 2012 episode of Raw, when viewers were asked to choose the guest of that night's Piper's Pit, with the choices being Chris Jericho, Dolph Ziggler and The Miz.
The funny thing is that no matter who won the vote, all three candidates were going to be in the segment with Roddy Piper. However, I still had to write three separate segments because the winner was going to come out first and interact with Piper and then be interrupted by the one of the guys and then the other.
When I approached Piper that afternoon to discuss the segment, he said, "OK, so who's going to win the vote?" I said that it would probably be Jericho, but I couldn't say for sure because the voting was a shoot.
Piper smiled, looked me directly in the eye and said, "Right. So just tell me who's winning the vote." I don't think I ever really convinced him that I wasn't ribbing him.
When the five of us sat down and went over the three versions of the segment, each guy wanted to make changes to the dialogue, especially Piper and Jericho. Miz felt like he didn't have enough to say and wanted to add a bunch of lines, which would have made the segment way too long.
To make things worse, as Piper was backstage trying to get his lines straight just a minute or two before he was to go to the ring (he wouldn't know who won the voting until he got out there), Vince made a change in the dialogue and had me deliver the change to Piper, who acknowledged me but I'm not sure he was actually listening.
Jericho ended up winning the vote, but Piper got lost pretty quickly out there and started improvising. Jericho did his best to save it, but the segment was a train wreck.
The announce team dumped all over it (which they were instructed to do by Vince as the segment was deteriorating), and so did fans on social media. Piper later responded to the criticism by tweeting:" I read that Vince was angry at the last Piper's Pit. Not a word was said to me. For the record, I DIDN'T WRITE THAT CRAP! #bemadatwriters."
To be fair, I thought we inadvertently set Piper up for failure. Asking him to memorize three separate segments and not know which version he'd actually be performing until the voting results were revealed while he was in the ring was a bit much.
Oh well, at least we didn't compromise the integrity of the voting.

I hope they do a slow Savage/Elizabeth style build to this turn. But she'll probably cost him the Payback match, do a promo on Raw, and do a full turn the following night on The Network. But she just turned thirty. That's about the age Vince starts contemplating throwing women out of the jet while in the air.
- We noted before that Vince McMahon is high up on Lana and has big plans for her push. The long-term plan right now is for Lana to be the female face of the company once her babyface turn has happened.
Vince reportedly feels that part of Lana’s transition has to include the reveal that she’s really American. The idea is to keep the Lana name but there’s been some talk of using the name “CJ” as her real name is Catherine Jo Perry. The idea would be that “CJ” makes people think of a hot blonde because of Pamela Anderson’s character in Baywatch.

First, Samoa Joe in NXT would be awesome. I'd almost be fine with him staying and never going to the main roster. Haha. Be the proving ground before you're ready for the main roster. IF you beat Samoa Joe. Also, it's amazing watching the love affair between Vince and JR. Vince probably spends three minutes per year thinking about JR, while JR spends three months per year thinking about Vince. But JR's moves since leaving have been smart. He showed he's still valuable. Just enough to make Vince OK him returning in some form to the company. GFW Lead Announcer JR doesn't work for either party. – We noted before that both Samoa Joe and Jim Ross were in Orlando for last week’s WWE NXT tapings and that Joe met with Triple H about coming into the company. Joe is still expected to start with NXT in June but it was described to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter as not confirmed for June just yet. This could be due to the various pre-signing tests talents have to go through. Ross also talked with the company about working on different projects together while he was there.
