UPDATE: PW.net has the following details on Samoa Joe’s dark match:
Samoa Joe beat Tyson Kidd. It appeared Kidd was injured during the match. Once it was over, Natalya raced to the back. Cesaro hopped into the ring very quickly. The referee threw up the x sign. Kidd was pissed leaving the ring and appeared to be holding his neck/collarbone. It was a nice surprise to see Joe. A mark out moment for this long time fan to see him live.
ORIGINAL: Samoa Joe was at the Raw taping tonight, working a match with Tyson Kidd that appears to have been taped for Superstars. There is the possibility, however, that it could have been a dark match. Joe beat Kidd with the Muscle Buster.

Joe beat Tyson Kidd in a dark match before Raw. He's coming... In addition to Speeps, score jr also ignores randomeone. It's ok, I'm fine, I swear.....

PWInsider.com is reporting new NXT signee Samoa Joe has a new full-time deal in place, but Joe has not actually signed the contract yet. It was previously reported that Joe had a new deal with WWE; both sides have agreed on terms but the contract is still being written.
Joe will be featured on NXT television for several months, instead of going straight to the WWE main roster as it was questioned. Joe will be a focal point on the NXT brand, then will possibly be “fast-tracked” to the main roster, similar to Kevin Owens’ situation.
As far as Joe’s dates with Ring of Honor go, he will still team with AJ Styles against Kazarian and Daniels (The Addiction) at the July 20th tapings. This may likely be Joe’s ‘farewell’ even though ROH wanted to look at using Joe more. This plan was before news of his full-time WWE deal came out, and he will still likely fulfill all other indy dates unless WWE has priority on those conflicting dates.

Not a good start for Joe. – According to the WON, Tyson Kidd’s injury that he suffered during his dark match with Samoa Joe was a spinal cord injury. The site reports that Kidd received medical attention after the match was over. WWE has a new policy trying to keep injuries secretive, and Kidd’s injury appears to be one of those WWE didn’t want getting out. Kidd expects to make a full recovery and hopes to be able to avoid surgery, though there’s no timetable for a return.

I don't want anyone getting hurt, but dammit, it really sucks it had to happen to Kidd.
So I guess Cesaro is on his own lost in the shuffle until Kidd comes back? That sucks.
Muscle Buster I don't see being used anymore. Coquina Clutch is a choke, so I assume that can't be used. Wonder what Joe's finisher would be?

UPDATE: According to Pwinsider.com, former TNA performer Jessica Havok is in attendance at the WWE tryouts, which started today.
Squared Circle Sirens also reports that Andrea (formerly Rosie Lottalove) is also in attendance. Andrea had quit wresting in 2012 due to health issues, and returned in October125 pounds lighter. She has been working on the WWNLive (SHINE & Evolve) events.
ORIGINAL: According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, more names have been confirmed for the three day WWE tryout camp next week. They are Johnny Gargano (Evolve), Jimmy Preston (Northeast Wrestling) and Taelor Hendrix (formerly of TNA).
Squared Circle Sirens reports that Dianna Dahlgren (model and an IFBB Pro Bikini Competitor), Nikki Galladay (TV’s Bad Girls Club) and Gisele Shaw (graduate of the Lance Storm Academy) are also set to attend.
As previously reported, former MMA fighter tuned wrestler Matt Riddle, along with independent wrestlers Biff Busick, Drew Gulak and Chuck Taylor are currently scheduled to attend the tryouts.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter says that WWE is looking to add more workers along with traditional developmental talents to the NXT brand, due to the lack of depth. This is because of Owens being transitioned to the main roster, and Itami and Zayn being out until at least October.

In an interview with PWF Empire Live, former Tough Enough contestant Luke Robinson (who lost in the finals to Andy Leavine) spoke about the rumors that he did gay porn and his belief that some in WWE are homophobic. Here are highlights:
On the rumors that he did gay porn: “About two weeks before we were flown to Florida for the FCW taping, I get a call from the executive producer. He goes ‘Who’s Donnie Drake? What’s this Donnie Drake stuff?’ After college, I worked for two companies that market what they call ‘custom videos to a homosexual audience.’ I’m fully-clothed in normal wrestling gear, there’s no sex acts, no nudity, (just suggestive holds, nothing that you couldn’t see on Monday Night RAW). They wanted attractive guys with muscles and they market it to a homosexual audience. I put it on my background check … it wasn’t a secret. I never compromised my morals or values. You know when you’re a babyface selling? You’re crawling up the heel, using his kneepads and tights to pull yourself up. Someone made a crude photoshop picture that got passed around… (on the internet it got distorted to ‘Luke did gay porn’).”
On homophobia in WWE: “(A buddy of Luke’s) was trying out in FCW, he was down there when John Laurinaitis was down there. (A couple of weeks after the Tough Enough finale, people were asking) ‘What happened to that Luke Robinson kid from Tough Enough?’ My buddy called me and said the direct quote from John Laurinaitis was ‘We don’t need any of that homo sh*t here…’ That was four years ago, and obviously you have Darren Young now. Now they use some of this PR stuff in a positive light to paint the picture that they’re a very philanthropic company. Stephanie McMahon’s admitted in an interview with Forbes that ‘the future of marketing is philanthropy’. I’m not saying it’s not wonderful that they promote the anti-bullying and Make A Wish, but the fact is there’s a lot of bullying and bad things that go on behind the stage.”
On Ariane/Cameron getting hired out of all the season five contestants: “For the most part (WWE) does not want people who like wrestling. They don’t want you to be too much of a mark, too starstruck. They love it if you don’t want to be there. I almost feel like they get off on it… if you don’t want or care about wrestling. I think it’s because they know that they can either mold you, or you’ll be a sheep. You don’t really care, it’s like ‘Whatever. I’ll do whatever you want me to do. I just want to be on TV.'”
On not winning Tough Enough: “I wouldn’t change a thing. Not winning Tough Enough, in the end, ended up being one of the biggest blessing in disguise in my life. I don’t believe that things happen for a reason; I believe the happiest people make a reason for that to have happened. I don’t believe that I was meant to lose Tough Enough. I think my life would have been great if I had won it, but instead I had to find a reason for myself to have lost. What I ended up creating is the business that I have now (Wolfpack Fitness).”

– Gerald Brisco is reportedly at the WWE Performance Center helping out with tryouts. Shane Haste and Mikey Nichols from Pro Wrestling NOAH are part of the tryouts.
– Zack Ryder is booked for next week’s NXT house shows.
– While Ric Flair will appear at next week’s Columbus NXT show, he is not set for Pittsburgh.
– Tyson Kidd’ is still undergoing medical tests for his injury at the Raw taping. The belief is that it was unpreventable and a freak occurrence.

Carmella and Bayley did a live periscope of their drive from Orlando to an NXT show. What a fucking riot. Carmella without the accent is so much better than with the accent. She is so hot.

A good dude got a second chance and paid it forward by helping someone else out.
According to The Wrestling Observer, WWE World Champion Seth Rollins did a Q&A at the Wizard World convention in St. Louis, Missouri last week and during his talk he revealed Joey Mercury (one half of J&J security) saved his WWE career.
Rollins admitted he had developed a reputation for having a big ego during his time in WWE NXT, and he had a tremendous amount of heat on him as he believed he was the best performer in developmental and he became very frustrated with how much time he had to spend in NXT.
Rollins claimed he was almost fired by the company at one point until Mercury helped lay out everything for him and put him on the right path, which he says ended up saving his career in WWE.

I'm not watching anymore. I may finally be over it. Nice to read things on KO and that movement, but I am just not interested in Raw anymore. As much shit as Vince Russo gets (and deserves), I do believe there is something to make RAW great enough to where you have to watch it next week to see if they can top it. As we move away from actual PPV buys and towards network buys, I think it would make even more sense to make the weekly shows more important. But, I seem to be done for now. I took RAW off my DVR schedule. I haven't missed it. I don't even feel like I've missed anything of importance or interest. Money in the Bank is usually a great show so they might get me there. I love Brock Lesnar. I love Seth Rollins but hate what they've done to him and the way he is booked. Its just not interesting to me anymore.

I would probably spend about fifteen minutes per week right now if it weren't for the board. What don't you like about the Rollins booking? I think he's a perfect chicken shit heel, which was desperately needed.

Woodridge I've been there many occasions, back when you found out about my pointless wrestling knowledge about what, 10 years ago (good Lord it's been that long, wow), I wasn't watching much at all then, but always stayed somewhat aware of the product. Yet here I am, all those years later & I'm still drawn to it, despite nothing groundbreaking happening in years.
NXT has kept my interest in WWE related products for sure. I'm partial to Rollins for sure, he's a fantastic chicken shit champ, however they need to have better heels he cowers behind. If Rollins, my hometown guy, wasn't the main heel, I too was debating taking a break. There's only so much Show/Kane vs Reigns I can take.
ROH is a good alternative. I've given up on TNA. And despite not being in English for me, I enjoy the hell out of Lucha Underground.
I'd recommend sticking to NXT, Woodridge. That won't let you down. And it's just an hour, don't have to waste 5 hours on WWE TV each week.

I think he's a perfect chicken shit heel, which was desperately needed. I'm fine with with chicken shit heel, but its so over the top from the first 10 seconds of his matches. Its making him look weak at times. Triple H had his posse of goons, so did Orton, so did Hogan with the nWo, so did Heenan family members....but its just something about the way they are positioning him that I think it makes him look over the top weak. Those guys would still work most the match without constantly relying on outside help. Triple H would have a match with the Rock and have interference here or there, and maybe get a cheap win, but he wouldn't get non-stop attacking from 3-4 other allies during MOST of the match. Its just too much to the point where I feel like we barely even watch Rollins perform anymore. Rollins isn't a believeable champ, but he absolutely should be. Other than that, the writing has given me no reason to tune in each week. I could come back a couple months from now and feel like I've basically missed nothing. Back in the day, you hated to miss a segment for fear you missed something amazing. Sure, it may have been an Al Snow vs Steve Blackman match I might have ended up missing, but I didn't want to take any chanced missing any part of the show. I think Roberts is being a bitch publicly but man, its hard to argue with his thoughts on what he saw when he was there.

That's what they've done to that damn wwe product.
