With the exception of Krokus I agree. Krokus has a lot of sentimental value to me. Aside from the epic experience that scorejr and I had with them (scorejr being vetted like a terrorist notwithstanding). There was also the night at the 7 Mile Motel when we were all in our teens. Pretty much all between 16-18. You'd be amazed how many people could fit and party in one of those rooms. Well as the night wore on, pretty much only couples were left. And 3 of the couples were already pretty much in the "fucking" stage. Tina and I had pretty much just met. (not the crazy bitch Tina but a Tina from way back in the day) Anywho, somebody cut the lights, Our Love from Krokus was playing and things started happening from every corner of the room. Except for mine. We left. This is one of the nastiest and cheapest motels you will ever find (It's across the freeway from the 7 Mile Fair) but nobody gave a damn. This place was quite prevalent in our party rotation as yutes.

65. AnthraxBack in whatever year that was, scorejr and I saw Judas Priest in Rockford somewhere. So we got there all early and some band was on the stage just rocking the faces off of people. Now granted, I'm not really Mr. Metal like jackref or scorejr are. So this band on stage was pretty damn heavy to me but they were getting the job done. And lo and behold it was Anthrax. This is the kind of music you put on when you want to pull out of the driveway, run the neighborhood kids over, and then continue on with your day. 64. Alice In ChainsMan In The Box rocks. We used to sing it at work and say "I'm the man in Jen's Box." It never got old. That's because sooner or later you actually would be the man in our co-worker's Jen's box. She was pretty hot in a seriously tomboyish kind of way but apparently she had the Herp. So that part was kind of a turn off. 63. The BeatlesOk I guess I lied because there they are. The Beatles made the list after all. I really can't stand a lot of their "Poppy" stuff I Wanna Hold Your Hand and the like. Ugh. Just listening to it right at this moment and it's making me sick. But truth be told, Eleanor Rigby, Penny Lane, Ticket To Ride and a few others are pretty damn good tunes. 62. Avenged SevenfoldSee Anthrax. Now like I said, this isn't necessarily my go to music but it comes particularly in handy when you want to go on a murderous crime spree, or maybe if you just want to get in an intense workout. 61. Red Hot Chili PeppersI really don't know songs deep into their catalog but I like the cut of their jib. Strange mothereffers but I like the funky sound. Under The Bridge is outstanding. Californication is obviously a classic. Scar Tissue is another one I really like. If you were at a house party back in the day, the Chili Peppers is one of the groups you wanted playing in the background.

I am going to make my own top 75 and it will only include bands that did their work between the 80's and 10's. There is alot of shit in the 60's and 70's. I can't wait to see where Kays rated Styx.

I have Styx rated VERY HIGH on my list. They were the first rock concert I ever saw, which was back in like 6th-7th grade I want to say. Whenever Paradise City was.

Styx sucks. Look how uncomfortable Uncle Ted was in Damn Yankees. He was uncomfortable with how much of a pussy tommy shaw was. Just look at the videos. AND Shaw was the coolest member of Styx.

Actually I believe it's Paradise Theatre. I'm pretty sure that's the precise moment and album that Dennis DeYoung started immensely affecting the way and style that the band would play going forward. He was/is a genius(as well as a pompous ass as scorejr and I discovered in Oshkosh), but he's no Tommy Shaw.
