Doesnt't look like the show has even started yet. Looks super early. I also hate this new font in the text box that we see when we type. Who keeps fucking with shit on here? I haven't changed, and I don't think anyone else has changed anything. I did notice one of my email accounts, and bank accounts, randomly changed fonts around the same time. I worried I was hacked. As far as I know, everything is the same here.

Weird. I have like Times New Roman for when I type in this reply box now. Very bizarre. Must be a browser or new update thing

TNA Potentially Announcing New TV Deal
As we previously noted, four networks are said to be potentially interested in picking up TNA Impact Wrestling, with 2 of the four being the Velocity Network and WGN America. It should be noted SpikeTV is not one of the four networks.
According to F4WOnline.com, TNA could announce a new TV deal sometime this week, however that remains unconfirmed.

That guy lives his dream. He produces basic cable reality TV shows, including TNA, and is a hilljack in Wyoming most of the time.
No way would he want the headache.
It's the same reason Paul Heyman doesn't want to do any more than he does. It's not worth it.

To tell you the truth, I have a much greater respect for Uncle Eric after listening to all of the podcasts. For as much heat as he has taken from the IWC and well - everybody, there's nary a bad word said about him on podcasts.
Then again, I've always liked him since the whole NWO thing is when I got back into rasslin.

Then again, I've always liked him since the whole NWO thing is when I got back into rasslin. I don't agree with his politics and think he failed to capitalize on one of the biggest angles wrestling has ever had. He could've built new stars but he was content being pals with the boys. That said, he's one of the only people outside the McMahon family and Paul Heyman I'd look to for creative ideas.

Good grief:
- The recent Impact Wrestling tapings in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania reportedly drew the following attendance figures:
* September 16 – 350 fans * September 17 – 200 fans * September 18 – 275 fans * September 19 – 650 fans
Some of the tapings were heavily papered, specifically the Thursday (Sept. 18) tapings.

Jeff Jarrett's Global Force Wrestling Expected To Launch On Pay-Per-View In January Posted By: Ben Kerin on Sep 29, 2014 Source: PWInsider.com
The very first pay-per-view from Jeff Jarrett's Global Force Wrestling is on the horizon if an insider report from PWInsider.com is to be believed and it's going to be a HUGE one.
A number of sources are reporting that carriers' schedules have the first GFW PPV scheduled for January, 4 2015. This date of course synonymous with the annual New Japan Pro Wrestling Tokyo Dome Show.
The belief is Jarrett will be bring the NJPW event to the United States for the first time ever which would be branded as GFW.
Jarrett has reportedly declined to comment on this story.

According to Pwinsider.com, Global Force Wrestling’s first ever event will be producing New Japan Pro Wrestling’s WrestleKingdom event on traditional US PPV. The show takes place on January 4th, and is being listed by PPV providers as, GFW Presents New Japan’s WrestleKingdom. At this time, the plan is to show the PPV live (likely around 3AM ET), and then air it later that day in the traditional Sunday night PPV time slot.

Jeff Jarrett will be headed to Tokyo to put the fininshing touches on the plans for the big Tokyo show tha takes place in January. The impression given is that there will be videos on the Global Force Wrestling website to promote the show in January. The January show will be called “Global Force Wrestling presents New Japan Wrestle Kingdom.” Cable distributors want the show to be $24.95. However, New Japan charged $35 last year for the Tokyo Dome show on pay-per-view. The plan is to have a live show on a Saturday night and then a replay at 8pm the next night. The show will be broadcast in English and Japanese. Jim Ross noted that he hasn’t had talks with New Japan. However, Ross has had talks with GFW. One issue though would be that there’s an Oklahoma Sooners football game on the same weekend of the show. News from WrestlingObserver.com was used in this post. TNA Draws Lowest Quarter-Hour Ever Posted By: Richard Hughes on Oct 03, 2014
Wednesday’s edition of TNA Impact drew a 0.875 rating. The show drew 1.097 million viewers for Spike TV (which is actually up from the 969,000 viewers who tuned in last week)
The show peaked with a 1.03 rating for the first quarter-hour, then dropped to a show low of 0.79 and a 0.75 for the last two quarter-hours of the night. If you don't include the Monday Impact run, this is the now the lowest quarter-hour that TNA have ever done, headlined by Gail Kym Vs. Havok for the Knockouts Championship.

I'm starting to think Global Force Wrestling is a front for a business where people buy fancy soap products at a discounted rate and sell them to their friends and family.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, TNA recently made an attempt to contact CM Punk, using an intermediary. It’s being said they were prepared to offer the former WWE Champion a major contract, with money in the range of what Hulk Hogan was making during his run. He would have easily been the most paid star on the roster. Ideally, TNA would like to hire CM Punk and use him as the face of Impact Wrestling going forward, building the entire show around him. Of course, a new contract with such a well-known star could also give the company more leverage in negotiating a new television deal for 2015. That being said, Punk has no interest in getting back into pro wrestling at this point.

Haha, that's amazing/ridiculous.
They're more likely to sign "Best in the Woods" CP Munk & Colt Cabunny

In the last 24 hours, Dixie posted a message on Twitter mocking the typhoon coming at Japan. Pulled the tweet down. They announced that Tommy Dreamer will induct Team 3D into the HOF. I absolutely love Tommy, but he's not exactly a TNA lifer. Dixie proceeded to post they might find the "next Eddie Guerrero" here. Pulled the tweet down. I don't even want to try to understand what the hell she's talking about. They also announced the show closer will be James Storm and Hanada v Muta and Tajiri. Even though Tajiri just turned on Muta three days ago. He did it at a show for the Wrestle-1 promotion that will likely be out of business in three months because they barely run shows these days. The partner promotion for TNA's Wrestlemania, which is ending in a zero heat tag team match playa.

I didn't think there was anything really wrong with Dixie's tweets.
Bound For Glory in Japan was a good idea in theory. It's been awful in execution. Taping so many weeks in advance didn't really allow for meaningful setup. And partnering with Wrestle-1 instead of NOAH or NJPW sucked.

I'm not offended, but I'm sure some Japanese people will be. If you're going to offend people, be funny. The Guerrero tweet? What the hell does that even mean? She's more likely to find the next Chris Benoit if she keeps this up. I liked the Bound for Glory idea as well at first. But for all the reasons you mentioned, I soon knew it would be horrible.

I only saw the typhoon tweets. Those were nothing IMO.
The Eddie Guerrero tweets were probably a reference to his run as Black Tiger in Japan. Still dumb.
