Long-time WWE announcer Lillian Garcia may be wrapping up her tenure with the company soon. Former WWE writer Court Bauer originally noted on his MLW podcast recently that Garcia – who first started with the wrestling promotion way back in 1999 – was no longer with the company. Rumors began last week when the announcer was not on television, and it was speculated that she was caught in the mass “spring cleaning” of talent that saw the release of several notable stars. However, as recently as Thursday afternoon Lillian took to Twitter noting that she was dealing with a family emergency, and hoped to be back this coming Monday night for Raw. While several other sites are claiming to second reports of her firing, we are still awaiting an official response from either WWE or Garcia herself. One source noted to me that she may still be with the company, however they apparently won’t be renewing her contract, and she will be off television once it expires. If this is the case, while the end result is essentially the same, it would explain the conflicting reports and Lillian’s tweets, as she very well could still be on Raw this coming week. I don't want to see anyone lose their job, but maybe they can find something different for her to do? She's been increasingly terrible over the past few years. Have Jojo do the announcing (she's awful at backstage interviewing anyway). I'd say have Eden do it, but after seeing her promo vignette with Rhodes they shot a few years ago, I now want Cody to have Brandi Rhodes as his valet.

I haven't read the actual article yet but I already disagree with whatever it's going to say. I think the whole AJ/Reigns/Bullet Club thing has been very, VERY well done. I mean I'm not crazy about the Usos part but that's because I hate them in general. They make complete sense in this storyline though.

well its making people not hate Reigns somehow.... He would be even less hated with original entrance music and something other than the shitty swat team shield gear.

Score jr and I had about a 90 minute conversation and concluded that the E is currently doing basically everything right for the past month or so.....and into the foreseeable future. (Other than the Backlund/Young stuff of course)

22 minutes into Review A Raw and it might be the worst ever. Now granted Mania was bad and not following up on any storylines etc... was bad but ever since then they seem like they hit the reset button and things have pretty much been perfect. I'll give you that the announcing still sucks. However, if you by and large don't like what's going on at this very moment in the WWE, you'll probably never like wrestling again.

Stuff that currently sucks:
1. The announcers 2. Backlund/Young 3. Goldust and the other three weirdos
I realize everything can't be awesome so 2 and 3 really aren't all that bad/don't matter in the greater scope of things. The announcers sucking is a MAJOR problem but not enough to shit on the rest of the show which has been extremely well put together since Mania.
Would still like to see involvement in the announcing from people like Heyman, Graves, Renee, Big Show or Mauro.

Things that are right:
Jericho Owens Zayne Ambrose AJ Reigns Bullet Club Miz/Maryese Baron Corbin/Ziggler - Ziggler doesn't do a lot for me anymore but this feud has been pretty great. Zayn - LUC!!!!!!!!!!!! Charlotte Natalya The New Day Enzo & Cass Cesaro Rusev/Lana back together. And don't forget what Lana spelled backwards is. Mauro Ranallo Renee Young Seth Rollins - Should be "Waiting On" but Seth is ALWAYS right. Fuck I can't wait. Summer Rae - Way hot
Keeping the following off TV: Big Show Kane Sheamus ADR Mark Henry Ryback
Things that fit even if I'm not way crazy about them: Usos Kalisto - love his in ring stuff but there's way too many people I'd put in front of him for this belt. Little guys like him just aren't all that believable to me. Goldust - Not everything can be great but Goldust still cracks me the frick up with his odd noises. JoJo's ass - It's bigger than I like but if I did actually like slightly bigger than normal asses then JoJo's would be the one that I liked most.
Questionable: Vaudevillians - I don't feel great about a lot of things that went on in that Enzo/Cass match. Crews - No personality hurts but Vince's racism will eventually doom him. (If it hasn't already) Randy Orton - Just not sure they can recreate what they once had with Orton. Does have a lot of new people to work with though so who knows.
Waiting on: Bray and the Wyatts - Bray was on the verge of something cool before the injury. I still have faith. Brock Lesnar - always awesome John Cena - can't wait (seriously) Bubba - A Dudley breakup would be most welcome. Make DVon an agent or something. Neville - I still dream of the E starting up a TV Title. Paul Heyman - Will be great whenever but whenever is too few and far between. Should be an announcer. Sasha Banks - Should win the belt at SummerSlam. I Google "Sasha Banks Nudes" almost daily. Titus O'Neil - I'm still hoping for big things for him. I think he's the complete package.

And that doesn't even take into account all the awesomeness in NXT: Finn Balor - I'm predicting he debuts at the PPV, takes out AJ, forms the Balor Club Samoa Joe Bayley Austin Aries Nakamura Ibushi - eventually Tye Dillinger - scorejr can't get enough of this guy America Alpha Asuka
The Cruiserweight Tourney The Tag Team Tourney The Women's Tourney
All the other people from NXT that I'm forgetting.

Stop getting injured!

Is it a serious injury? If not, have her still do stuff at ringside. Just swap the roles with her & Dana. Have Dana wrestle & Emma be the one running interference. Dana sucks on the microphone, so have Emma be the one talking.
If she is injured to the point of not being able to compete, that really sucks because even though it wasn't a major feud, she was still getting used on TV & not in a comedic role, which was great.

Damn. Ruptured disc.
NoDQ.com > WWE > Emma update: Surgery needed Posted by Aaron Rift on 05/16/2016 at 05:19 PM
WWE posted the following update regarding Emma being injured:
WWE.com has learned that Emma suffered an injury during a WWE Live Event and will need to undergo surgery in order to correct the problem.
“Emma has a ruptured disc that will require her to have surgery,” explained WWE ringside physician Dr. Chris Robinson. “She came to us in a great deal of pain, which seemed to be increasing. She was then given an M.R.I., which revealed that further action would need to be taken. Unfortunately, the Superstar’s estimated recovery time cannot be determined until after her procedure is complete.”

Dammit. Hopefully she'll be able to come back. This surgery will suck. Time for Broski to step up & take care of her.

EDIT: Thanks Drop In
Batista speaks the truth. I get it that men can't beat up women in WWE anymore. But Steph beats the shit out of (and in the process, emasculates) so many dudes, never getting her comeuppance. Last time that happened was with Vickie Guerrero & that was almost 3 years ago.
Steph's book is going to suck so badly. It'll be all about her upbringing & how she "rose to the top of a male dominated business" I'm sure.

Just highlight and copy the web address of the tweet you're trying to post. Paste it in plain text in the post. It will populate the message.

I've become a fan of Skinny Jeans since he left again. He's been more open and outspoken.
A lot of that probably has to do with his movie successes.
Good for him.

Bare with me as I just fantasy booked the shit out of Joe/Balor & how either can get called up to the main roster. Let me know what you think.
1.Balor beats Joe at Takeover in the cage. Joe is furious, but they have a staredown to end the show. On this same show, you crown a new #1 contender for the NXT title.
2.Joe goes to Regal at the next NXT show & says he is contractually obligated to have a rematch & he wants it. Regal says that while that is true, (winner of #1 contenders match) is already the next in line & that sends Joe over the edge pissed off. Trying to calm him down, Regal says he has a compromise though. And says that if Samoa Joe is willing to step aside & let said #1 contender get the title shot instead of him, he will guarantee him a spot in the Money in the Bank match (just say he cleared it with Steph/Shane as part of the “new era” or whatever)
3.Joe is left to ponder what to do. Either get back what he wants most, the NXT title & revenge on Balor? Or take the spot in MITB. We don’t find out his decision……until the MITB PPV.
4.This makes people want to buy the PPV. Of course Joe enters the MITB match & wins it. He now has the briefcase, can be elevated to main eventer whenever they want, plus this all puts the NXT title in a good light because Joe considers it to be on the same level as that of the WWE title opportunity.
Obviously none of this would happen, but it's fun to fantasy book how/when people like Joe/Balor get the call up. You could easily switch the roles & have all this happen to Balor instead of Joe. Just have Joe savagely beat Balor at the end of the cage match, whoever wins the #1 contendership comes to help Balor, have a staredown with Joe & then Balor demand one final shot at Joe, but Regal offers him the MITB spot.

Another WWE Announcer Released Posted By: Ben Kerin on May 19, 2016 Source: PWInsider, Pro Wrestling Sheet
WWE has released another announcer recently it has transpired.
Alex Reyes has officially been let go from the company after only joining the company's NXT brand in October 2015. Reyes is no longer referring to himself as a WWE employee on his Twitter profile. He worked on NXT as a backstage and live segment interviewer. He also worked at the WWE Performance Center with upcoming talent on their promos.
Announcers Rich Brennan and Kyle Edwards were also recently released by the company.
Pro Wrestling Sheet reports that a source close to Reyes has noted that the NXT interviewer believes that all the recent announcer releases were a result of them being die-hard professional wrestling fans, something which WWE has frowned upon in the past and might explain their diminishing use in recent months.
