Nope.
He's been tweeting about Cody coming back (even from his Stardust account) so I figured an angle was forthcoming.

I know he was multi time IC & Tag champ, but holy smokes what untapped potential they had in Cody. I honestly think if booked right he could've been in the World title picture. Especially after he had a great feud with Orton on Smackdown in 2011. This has nothing to do with his last name either, Cody is a fantastic talent, in ring, on the microphone, the look, charisma, everything. He just could never get over the IC title hump.
Stardust wasn't a career killer, it was a momentum killer. I understand why he wanted to do it, but it went no where & limited him in the process.
He does stuff with comics I know, he's worked with Aubrey Sitterson in the past, so I wonder if that's what's next? Wonder if Brandi is leaving with him? She's fantastic too.
This one really bums me out, but you have to think, if this is what makes him happier, I'm all for it.
Cody Rhodes vs Dalton Castle just once, please. I just want him in PWG for a show.

Quick question, Cody just asked for his release. Nowhere did it ever say he was granted it. What are the odds this is an angle?

Welp, apparently WWE released him. So much for that theory.

I got chills reading that. Dude knew deep down he was more than just a goofy Stardust character. Even he was trying to pitch ideas for Cody to come back. Gotta agree, he made chicken salad out of chicken shit quite a bit (he made a creepy mustache entertaining for God sake). Who are the writers he's talking about? I looked up on Wiki & it says that Ranjin Singh is the Head Writer & Edward Koskey is Lead Writer for Raw. Steven Guerrieri is Lead Writer for SD. So I'm assuming it's them.
This makes me an even bigger fan of his to be honest. He didn't really bury anyone, he just got sick & tired of being sick & tired. Dude wants to wrestle.
Last line gave me hope we'll see him in ROH, PWG or Japan. He's way too smart of a guy to go to TNA.

Where is the PPV tonight?
If it's a good crowd, wonder how many Cody Rhodes chants we get.

WWE has granted Adam Rose’s request to be released, as of today, May 23, 2016. WWE wishes Rose the best in all his future endeavors.
More surprised that he requested his release instead of WWE being the ones to do it.

Eden requested & was granted her release. She announced before Cody even asked for his release that she had big news to announce soon & it's apparently a new career opportunity (she hasn't said what it is yet).
I'll miss her. She was the best ring announcer they had. She was one of the nicer people I've met & the way she announces Kevin Owens' name was the best. KevinOooooooowens, one word, bunch of O's.

randomone!!!! Returning WWE star Seth Rollins was the guest on ESPN’s “Off the Top Rope” segment hosted by Jonathan Coachman last night. You can watch the appearance in the videos below, and the following are some highlights: Coach asked Rollins about the reaction he got from the crowd when he returned on WWE Raw this week and Rollins said it was wild. He added he’s been sidelined for 7 months and to come back and make an impact in WWE right from the get go was a “very nice moment.” On his knee injury, Coach noted most athletes need 9-12 months to return from that type of an injury, but Rollins said he is a very goal-oriented person and gave himself a return timetable of 6-9 or 9-12 months. He praised his surgical team down in Birmingham, and added he was doing two-a-days every day because he missed the crowd so much. Coach then brought up pressure for Rollins to return to the top, especially since WWE has an abundance of new talent like AJ Styles. Rollins says he thinks it’s great that there’s a ton of new talent in WWE as he feels having hungry talents push other superstars to be their best, and that will in turn make the fans want to tune in and watch. On who he is looking forward to working with, Rollins said he can’t wait to wrestle guys like AJ Styles, Sami Zayn and Apollo Crews. He added he wrestled Styles 10 years ago in front of a very small crowd, and it’s great to see everything come full circle and now they’re in WWE. Rollins said AJ Styles has always been an idol to him and someone he modeled his style after. Read more at www.wrestlezone.com/news/712085-seth-rollins-espn-recap#PhlHgZKbK0KJZsKj.99

According to Meltzer, as of now, the plan is for Reigns to be the champ on the Raw brand & Cena as champ on the SD brand.

NoDQ.com > WWE > Plans For Dual-Brand RAWs & Announcers For PPVs Posted by Brad Davis on 05/26/2016 at 06:39 PM
There are more new details coming out about WWE's plans for the return of the draft split, which Vince McMahon is reportedly very excited about. According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Live, WWE is already planning some dual-brand episodes of RAW through next year's WrestleMania.
WWE is reportedly working on two big episodes of RAW for the night after SummerSlam and the night after WrestleMania. The two episodes will likely be the only times members of both the RAW and SmackDown rosters will be on the same TV show.
Both rosters will be present on WWE's pay-per-view events, and according to Wrestling Observer Live there will be two announce teams for all PPVs. Just like during the previous roster split, RAW announcers will be on hand to call RAW talents' matches, and SmackDown talents' matches will have their own announcers.
