I liked the episode in that it kept the story moving forward instead of sideways. I’ll take the finale and then be done with the show. If it has more seasons, then that will be it for me. I don’t need a soap opera. Creative concept that they have stretched out enough already.

If they get out of the multiple timeline way of telling stories I'll be happy next season. Straightforward storytelling worked so good with Kiksuya that I want more of it.

The multiple timeline thing is frustrating until the point where they tie everything out. I don't see any meaningful reason for the show to continue. So one more episode for me, and I am out. Very little chance this gets better in subsequent seasons. The wow factor is long gone.

I think there are interesting stories that can be told for another 2 seasons.
Hosts in the real world haven't played into anything yet and everyone is still in the facility.

My problem is then it's not Westworld anymore. Once you leave that setting, it is a different show. And here is what will happen- you will constantly be wondering who is a host and who is human with the big surprises being people you thought were human ending up as hosts. Oh my!
I'd much prefer that do a spin-off with new characters a different theme like a 25 years on or something.

Definitely feel like I'm less confused every week. Just enjoying. The pain of a man wearing a black hat everywhere is not shocking.

I don’t need forward moving story telling. I love character development. This show continues to peel back the layers of William. And now, maybe a new one in Delores.

Loved the episode. Interesting scene with Maeve and Ford as well. We’ve learned no matter how much one is programmed some choices can still be made - Maeve not fleeing, Teddy offing himself to do his best to essentially stop/slow down Delores.

I need to see how the finale ties things up. I love the show but there's potential for some chicanery that I wouldn't like.

The Bald Move guys took Ryan's idea and did a Live Watch of the original Westworld movie.

I have a feeling they stick the landing and season 2 ends in a very satisfying way.

I have a feeling they stick the landing and season 2 ends in a very satisfying way. I was talking to a friend about this today. Usually HBO shows do the big hits in the next to last episode. So I'll be OK if there aren't any huge shocks. But the last two episodes have also been maintenance, so it could be crazy. He had a fan theory that blew my mind. No, I'm not going to ruin it in case it happens.

There's a billion theories out there ranging from the absurd to the plausible.
I'll post about some of the ones I've heard after the finale.
